Over the course of his thirty years of investigation into UFOs, including his own field research, photographic evidence, and meticulously compiled case studies, Philip Imbrogno has provided fascinating new insight into paranormal phenomena. In this book, he reveals for the first time the detailed findings of prominent paranormal experts as well as his own firsthand experiences. Using the latest quantum theories, Imbrogno sheds new light on classic UFO cases, government cover-ups, and the hidden connections between UFOs and other unexplained phenomena-from crop circles and animal mutilations to angels and jinn (or genies). Imbrogno's insider knowledge spans the very early UFO reports to present-day sightings. He personally investigated four of the best-known UFO flaps of the modern era—Hudson Valley, Phoenix lights, the Belgium sightings, and the Gulf Breeze Florida sightings—and shares information never released before, including photographic evidence that something very unusual is taking place on planet Earth.

Book Review Author Advocates Healthy Lifestyle and Disease Prevention to start from the Womb and dieting to begin in the Crib New Health Book, written in easy-to-understand laymans term, provides thought-provoking and valuable health reference designed to change lives of individuals and society as a whole through good pre-emptive and proactive social initiatives and more responsible parenting for healthy lifestyle and disease prevention, which the cardiac surgeon author says must start in the womb and safe dieting should begin in the crib, to maximize their full potential in achieving their goals. XLIBRIS - (PRWEB) August 29, 2011 What is the best strategy to prevent diseases? Cardiac Surgeon Emeritus in Northwest Indiana Dr. Philip S. Chua attempts to provide resolution to this issue as he presents Lets Stop Killing Our Children, a valuable, inspiring, and innovative 794-page health guide that focuses on disease prevention starting from ground zero, and highlights the fundamental obligation parents and society have in teaching children how to life a healthy lifestyle by setting good examples early on. This revolutionary concept puts the onus squarely on society, parents and guardians of young children, who are totally at the mercy of society and of these adults, whose good or bad examples, habits and behaviors will inevitably be emulated by the children. It is in the first five formative years of the children and up to age 12 when instilling proper discipline and behavioral modification are most effective, states this heart surgeon. Almost all diseases known to man are self-induced and are, therefore, preventableMost of us seemed to have unwittingly programmed our mindset and behavior to a self-destruct and slow-suicide modethis negative surrender and fatalistic attitude are what this book aims to change, Dr. Chua critically pointed out in his book. An international health advocate and writer, Dr. Philip S. Chua, in this book of information, philosophy and principles, poses this great challenge to society as a whole in his belief that most diseases known to man are self-induced through self-abuse. It is important that both society as a whole and parents play their essential role of doing what is right for the children, way before age 5 to save these young lives from avoidable morbidity and premature death as they grow to middle age and beyond. After all, says Dr. Chua, the race does not start in the middle. The author points out that autopsy findings on children, as young as 4-5 who were victims of accidents, already had evidence of arteriosclerosis (hardening of their arteries) which we see in adultswe must be doing something wrong. "Are we losing the war on diseases because we are starting late and lagging far behind in this race?" ponders the cardiac surgeon. Dr. Chua, in his book, strongly suggests for parents and society as a whole to practice this novel pre-emptive and proactive health concept even before conception to achieve a healthier family, a healthier citizenry, and thus a healthier nation. "Since, we have not really significantly succeeded in our war against many diseases over the past half a century, the medical community and society as a whole need to seriously re-evaluate of our current conventional strategy in dealing with health and disease prevention, if we are to contain, if not eradicate, the common diseases afflicting man around the world today, including hypertension, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and even cancer," admonishes the author. This pre-emptive health strategy could forever change the role of parents and society in our quest for health, well-being, happiness, and longevity. This challenging and stimulating coffee-table book of wisdom is a must-read. Every home deserves one.
In this book, Philip Zhakevich examines the technology of writing as it existed in the southern Levant during the Iron Age II period, after the alphabetic writing system had fully taken root in the region. Using the Hebrew Bible as its corpus and focusing on a set of Hebrew terms that designated writing surfaces and instruments, this study synthesizes the semantic data of the Bible with the archeological and art-historical evidence for writing in ancient Israel. The bulk of this work comprises an in-depth lexicographical analysis of Biblical Hebrew terms related to Israel’s writing technology. Employing comparative Semitics, lexical semantics, and archaeology, Zhakevich provides a thorough analysis of the origins of the relevant terms; their use in the biblical text, Ben Sira, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and ancient Hebrew inscriptions; and their translation in the Septuagint and other ancient versions. The final chapter evaluates Israel’s writing practices in light of those of the ancient world, concluding that Israel’s most common form of writing (i.e., writing with ink on ostraca and papyrus) is Egyptian in origin and was introduced into Canaan during the New Kingdom. Comprehensive and original in its scope, Scribal Tools in Ancient Israel is a landmark contribution to our knowledge of scribes and scribal practices in ancient Israel. Students and scholars interested in language and literacy in the first-millennium Levant in particular will profit from this volume.

Ancient civilizations generated many innovations that are difficult to explain, such as the remarkable mathematical accuracy of the pyramids of Giza, the man-made fertile soil of the Amazon known as terra preta, and massive stone monuments too heavy to move in Peru and Lebanon, among other places. Given that modern science cannot explain these mysterious phenomena, one theory holds that ancient aliens were responsible for them. This volume examines the credibility of various paranormal hypotheses, giving readers the opportunity to explore the greatest puzzles of antiquity.
In this book, Philip Tite explores the role of biblical texts in the promotion of peace and violence. He begins by exploring the function of religious texts as ideological elements, recognizing that the New Testament affects the social construction of 'realities' or cultures within which people read and apply authoritative writings to ethical discussions. Arguing that an 'engaged reading ' of these texts is central within moral discourse, Dr. Tite explores such issues as feminist challenges to biblical ethics, Jewish-Christian relations, and gay and lesbian ethical disputes in Christianity.

Land of the Gods is the historical, archeological story of the ancient inhabitants of Scotland, the Lothians and the Borders tribes, whom the Romans called the Goddodin. The Romans did not conquer these ancient inhabitants, though when they retreated from Britain, neighboring tribes tried to lay claim to their lands. Then a magnificent warrior emerged from these ancient Scottish tribes. Remembered as Arthur, he fought for the survival of his land and won, and his Camelot was the Lothians and Borders region. After his reign, the region was finally overrun and his people fled to Wales, where over time, the story of their magical kingdom to the north and their mythical hero coalesced into the myth of Camelot and King Arthur. Today, remnants of the spiritual architecture of these tribes are visible in Cairnpapple, Traprain Law and other ancient Scottish monuments. They accentuated their region's unique volcanic landscape to reflect their mythology, which spoke of gods descending to Earth from the sun god Loth.
Igbo Mediators of Yahweh Culture of Life is a travel in time to where it all began. The book shows that the Creator Yahweh was in full communication with his earliest created people, the Igbos, who lived his culture of life. God shares one language with the Igbos, through which he gave them the enlightenment of civilization for humanity. This civilization was documented in the Igbo pictographic writings called hieroglyphics, which have remained unknown until this first ever exposition by this book. It traces this history from the earliest (pictographic) writings dating back 400,000 years ago in the caves in present-day Gabon, the rock paintings in the Sahara desert dating back 45,000 B.C., and in the Chauvet caves in France dating back 35,000 B.C. The hieroglyphics in ancient Egypt are, for the first time, explained in their original Igbo language with English translations. The original Igbo text of the Holy Scriptures is unveiled in a manner that brings true contextual understanding of the teachings of the prophets and the gospels. Using ethno-linguistics, anthropology, and archaeology, the exact origins of ancient biblical Israel was uncovered with specific names and locations of all the Jewish towns and villages as they existed then and to the present day in Igbo land, Nigeria. The location of the palace of King David and King Solomons temple are revealed to exist in Owerri, Imo State. The exact place of the birth of Jesus Christthe place where he lived, worked, was crucified, and buriedare all uncovered in this book. The discovery of highly developed Igbo technologies in ancient Egypt that were looted by Napoleon in 1799 and now used for reverse engineering to obtain many of the present day technologies including electric battery, aircraft systems, Space Shuttle, submarines, helicopters and others are demonstrated. The origin of the Igbos of Europe, China, and the Americas are unveiled. The UFOs writings obtained at Roswell in hieroglyphics were explained and the author postulates a fascinating hypothesis that, there are Igbos in another nearby galaxy! The book illustrates the intensifying struggle from the beginning of time between Gods Culture of Life and the Culture of Death. The book traces the prolife struggle against the Culture of Death, which though very much apparent in our time, has never eclipsed the enlightenment of the civilization of the Culture of Life. This book has fundamentally rewritten the World History as we know it. The book claims that, the Igbos are the chosen people of God. The Igbos civilized the world as Pharaohs of ancient Egypt, the Kings of ancient Israel, the Greeks, the Phoenicians, Etruscans, Iberians, Carthaginians, Mayans, Olmecs, ancient Chinese, ancient Russians, Babylonians and Jewish authors of the Holy Bible. The spread of the Culture of Life provoked persecution and genocide against Igbos to this day. This is a Great Book of the Secrets of World Civilization. Read it!

Most education research is undertaken in western developed countries. While some research from developing countries does make it into research journals from time to time, but these articles only emphasize the rarity of research in developing countries. The proposed book is unique in that it will cover education in Papua New Guinea over the millennia. Papua New Guinea’s multicultural society with relatively recent contact with Europe and the Middle East provides a cameo of the development of education in a country with both a colonial history and a coup-less transition to independence. Discussion will focus on specific areas of mathematics education that have been impacted by policies, research, circumstances and other influences, with particular emphasis on pressures on education in the last one and half centuries. This volume will be one of the few records of this kind in the education research literature as an in-depth record and critique of how school mathematics has been grown in Papua New Guinea from the late 1800s, and should be a useful addition to graduate programs mathematics education courses, history of mathematics, as well as the interdisciplinary fields of cross cultural studies, scholarship focusing on globalization and post / decolonialism, linguistics, educational administration and policy, technology education, teacher education, and gender studies.
