During this time, he conducted research projects and taught several undergraduate and graduate courses, mostly in mathematical programming such as Linear Programming, Integer and Dynamic Programming, Nonlinear Programming, Sequencing and Scheduling, and Quantitative Method in Managerial Decision Making. Tari has published more than eighty papers in scientific journals and has held conference proceedings from the research results. His hobbies include reading books and listening to classical music. He also likes cooking. Mathematics I and its complement volume, Intermediate Mathematics II systematically describe concepts and tools that are crucial to every college student who are willing to attain solid base for more advance mathematical topics. They aim to give the reader a comprehensive view of mathematics, its use, and its role in computation. These two books cooperatively may be different than other mathematics textbooks. Every chapter starts with a romantic poem. The book begins with a survey of the hatred beween England and Ireland, dating back to the time of Queen Elizabeth, and then is followed by references to the Irish potato famine. American President Wilson was against Ireland in the Rising, even leaking information to the British. This book reports on the turmoil of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin and focuses on an English killer, Major Browne, and an Irish soldier, Jerry Murphy. They encounter one another in Dingle again where the Englishman murders the Irish rebel and sets in motion a trail of revenge with the Irishman’s younger brother Bart killing Major Browne. After learning of his brother’s death, Percival Browne begins his pursuit of Bart Murphy who has become a teaching Christian Brother. Murphy feels guilt over the shooting of the Englishman, and this follows him all his life. Murphy’s superiors assign him to a school in New York with Browne still hunting him and taking a shot at him while he’s on vacation. An Irish nurse cares for Murphy and is also attacked by Browne. Another brother wounds Browne. When the killer learns that Brother Murphy will go on a sabbatical to Dingle, he plans on shooting him there. An FBI agent with an Irish background gets interested in the case and travels to Ireland to safeguard Murphy.

El Nio Fidencio and the Fidencistas: Folk Religion on the U.S.-Mexican Borderland, is an biographical ethnography examining the life of Mexicos most famous folk healer as well as the folk religious healing cult that has followed him since his death in 1938. Dr. Zavaleta examines curanderismo, the transmigrational patterns of Mexicans in the United States as well as Latino/a social psychology and importance of folk beliefs and practices in their daily lives. In 2009, Zavaletas lifetime of research supporting Mexican nationals living abroad, Mexicanos en el Extranjero earned him the prestigious Ohtli, a Nahuatl(Aztec) word meaning pathfinder. The Ohtli is regarded as the highest community-minded awards which the Republic of Mexico bestows to non-Mexican citizens for their service to Mexico. In 2010, Zavaleta was appointed by President Obama to the Good Neighbor Environmental Commission of the EPA which reports directly to the President and dedicated to observing and analyzing ongoing events within the cross-border eco-systems of the United States-Mexico borderlands. Zavaleta studied anthropology at The University of Texas a Austin completing a doctoral degree in 1976. For the past 40 years he has been a faculty member and administrator at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College and The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Zavaleta retired in 2016 and lives in Brownsville, Texas.

There were achieved three significances, a) smallest angle scattering in the world at that time. It was a world record; b) discovered from small angle, right angle and backscattering results, the sound velocity was not a constant with the same phonon mode. It actually depends on the phone frequencies. At that time, no one in this field didn’t know how to interpret it. Based on the results in the study, published a paper in Physical Review B in 1986; 2) By the support of Office of Naval Research, we created quite a few navel Ferro-piezoelectric materials. We have done experiments on ferroelectricity, piezoelectricity and pyroelectricity measurements. Based on the experiment we have some intriguing findings; 3) We also work on theories on several topics. First of all, we proposed a displacive- order-disorder (DOD) ferroelectric transition model for para-ferroelectric phase transition mechanism. The paper was published in the well-known European journal “Ferroelectrics”. The DOD phase transition mechanism clarified the long-time dispute whether the para-ferroelectric phase transition was displacive or order-disorder one; 4) Derived an Accurate Formulation of Faraday, Magnetic Circular Dichroism (MCD) and Kerr Effect of Light in Ferro-electromagnet.; 5) published several papers in the frontier of quantum mechanics including: the red shift of photon frequency in gravitational potential; the mechanism of electron photo emission; the unification of classical mechanics and quantum mechanics; the origin of quantum particle entanglement and quantum wave packet tunneling. Some papers have caught attentions by physics communities; 5) two patents created by author. One is microwave-plasma and plasma torch gasifier. Another one is plasma torch directly refine metal titanium; 6) Also published some papers in Chinese. Some were appeared well-known Chinese News Paper. In some paper, the advantages and disadvantages in two social systems were analyzed in physical point of view. All these published papers are edited in this collection.

This book is about the Theory of Special Relatively (SR), the introductory parts of which, and other general comments on science and physics preceding it, would be of interest to the general reader. The alternative description of SR proposed and developed in the book is essentially that of Newton’s classical physics, except for the critical additional of a step properly expressing the travel time of light signals conveying information to the observer. The form of that step, in turn, is dictated by the requirements of SR as expressed through its essence, the Lorentz transformation. Conventional interpretations of SR phenomena are as the observer perceives them, in altered descriptions of space and time. The altered versions differ from those associated with the phenomena at the location of the event creating them, because the light signals, conveying the information from source to observer, involve certain travel times of the signals themselves. Thus, until deciphered, they are not a simple representation of times in the event of interest. When the alternative approach to representation of SR developed in this book is applied, the same results as those from the conventional approaches of SR are obtained. The expressions for quantities such as energy and momentum differ from the corresponding quantities in Newton’s model for space and time. The alternative approach in the book simply provides a more intuitive route to and a logical explanation of the relativistic process.
