BAPTISM BY GODLY FIRE ENDOWS CHILDREN OF GOD WITH SUPERNATURAL AUTHORITY AND ENABLES THEM TO DO EXPLOITS FOR HIM. SO, THIS BAPTISM BY FIRE IS A PRIVILEGE AND GREAT BLESSING TO THE BODY OF CHRIST. THE CONTEMPOARY CHURCH NEEDS BELIEVERS, LIKE MOSES AND ELIJAH, WHOSE HEARTS “BURNED” WITH THIS SPIRITUAL FIRE. IT DISTINGUISHES A BELIEVER FOR SERVICE IN THE KINGDOM WHERE GOD, THE SUPREME JUDGE THAT IS “A CONSUMING FIRE”, IS ALSO THE GOD OF MERCY AND GRACE, WHO SAVES THE PENITENT. BY HUMILITY, THE HUMAN SOUL CAN COME BEFORE THE PRESENCE OF THE LOVING GOD DURING A FAST. AND THROUGH PRAYERS, THE HUMAN SPIRIT IS ABLE TO EXPRESS ITS THANKSFULNESS TO GOD FOR ALL HIS GOODNESS. THIS IS WHY BELIEVERS NEED TO FAST AND PRAY, WITHOUT CEASING.

This can only be achieved through prayer, the proven medium through which believers of humble disposition, the penitent and redeemed of the lord, in sincerity of worship, enter into the presence of the almighty God. Simple as God intended this medium of communication to be, manin his pursuit for religion. and his zeal to humanize the divine naturehas introduced several unnecessary obstacles, thus complicating this otherwise simple concept. Prayer attempts to remove those man-made limitations that hinder easy access to God a guide that demystifies the art of communicating with God.
