This fast reading and clever book by author Pamela June Kimmell is chock full of fun characters and one can tell that the town of David's Bridge would truly be a most interesting place to call home!

At the end of the rainbow it is said there is a magical forest. This book contains short stories about some of the animals and insects in one magical forest presided over by a special forest fairy named Felicia. Each story is a fable containing a lesson to be learned in a fun and happy way. The author has done her own pen and ink/watercolor illustrations to accompany each story so children can see a picture of the various forest creatures as they learn from each other. The book is suitable for children of all ages. Since it has illustrations, small children enjoy looking at the pictures while an adult or older child reads the short story aloud. The book is the first in a planned series of fables taking place in the same magic forest at the end of the rainbow.
