Abstract We in our current era observe the movement of masses in three dimensions, be it through a section of road, through airways or under a layer of water. Time, a fourth dimension, provides a conclusive evidence of traveling along three dimensions, and this fourth dimension always co-exists with any of the three dimensions, either traveling from the last moment (past) to the current moment (present) or from the current moment to the next coming moment (future). Our brain is a tool which helps us to comprehend the discoveries of science in these four dimensions, but a signal of error propagates in our body when we hear of a concept which does not exist in all these four dimensions. In our first response, we try to jump into a state of denial or refusal of such concepts and realities for some. This rhetoric gives birth to the exigency of exploring the unexplored dimensions of this universe. IRFAN (inner knowledge of self and GOD in accordance with Islamic Sufism), a beneficial compilation for its readers, outlines the theoretical concepts and personal experiences of Faqeer Noor Muhammad Sawari Qadri (R.A) that uncover the ways for the reader to introspect, search for the inner light of the soul, build connectivity with GOD, and practice renunciation towards materialism to walk on the un-travelled dimensions of this physical world. The author highlights the ways to identify the inner divine spark by focusing on the personal name of GOD . An example of spiritual failure or failure in a dimension which does not exist in the basic four dimensions is the wreckage of Titanic (a British liner), which to many is the failure of its massive frame. However, understanding of the parallel existence of physical and spiritual worlds for one could be developed and self-examined by reaching the photons in one’s soul.

Over many years, the implementation of risk approach strategies and the confidential inquiry into maternal deaths have been used and have enhanced clinical care. Maternal mortality has decreased, but the declining trend has plateaued, with maternal deaths continuing to occur at a constant pace. New strategies must be sought to resolve the current situation. Sustainable Development Goals continue to have priorities relevant to maternal health. The attention on maternal mortality has grown, nevertheless maternal morbidity has remained a silent issue. Although maternal morbidity can quantify and evaluate maternal well-being, it has been neglected. Standardization in the assessment of severe maternal health conditions would eliminate issues that arise from the diverse descriptions and measurements in maternal research at present. This book presents a multifaceted perspective of maternal morbidity. It provides an outline of regulations and a means for gauging maternal well-being when used with maternal mortality and morbidity. It offers a review of local research on maternal health aspects, including physical and psychological elements, which have received insufficient attention to date. The clinical and public health practice implications and recommendations for healthcare providers and policymakers in the field of maternal health are included.

This book focuses on the involvement of some Kenyans in al-Shabaab, an affiliate of Al-Qaeda based in Somalia, despite their country’s relative stability compared to Somalia. It discusses the origin of the Kenyan state and how colonization created social stratification that benefited elites closer to the center, while excluding marginalized groups at the periphery. The argument is that this pattern still prevails, despite attempts to enhance equality, such as the adoption of a new constitution in 2010 promoting the devolution of power and resources. The persistence of this condition, it is argued, is what initially handed al-Qaeda and later al-Shabaab opportunities for mobilization, enabled by its creative politicization of religion. The heavy-handed tactics employed by security forces under the auspices of the ‘War on Terror’ further catalyzed this process, resulting in more Kenyan individuals joining the group. Using an historical and political process approach, the book shows how the interplay of structural conditions and al-Shabaab’s mobilization strategy linked with individuals’ motivations for joining the group. Based on individuals’ own narratives about their participation, the latter is empirically demonstrated to be non-linear, incorporating motivations beyond rational ones, contrary to the overemphasis on ideology in the literature on participation in groups similar to al-Shabaab. This book will of much interest to students of political violence, African politics, Islamic studies and International Relations.

There already exists Islamist ideology that challenges the writ of the governmental authority and other issues that have damaged the democratic values of the state like the right-wing terrorism and ethno-nationalist fundamentalism, such as in Spain and Italy. We are stuck between two world orders, Islamic and democratic world order. Both these powers have now been fighting each other for nearly half a century, from colonialism to political Islamic era till the 21st century when the world became a global village. Terrorists are using new technologies in relations to lure vulnerable people and the western youths are their easy target to recruit. We must apply the right tools to eliminate such ideology that corrupted millions of minds.

Due to the fierce competitive environment in the banking industry, several service providers implement marketing tactics to compete in order to achieve customer loyalty. Particularly, Islamic banks around the world are struggled to compete against conventional in terms of marketing activities development and gaining customer loyalty. Relationship marketing tactics such as price, service quality, communication, customization and reputation considered as the tools that marketers can use to enhance trust and commitment and subsequently customer loyalty. This study investigates the impact of relationship marketing tactics, trust and commitment on customer loyalty in Algerian Islamic banks. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires delivered to 308 customers of two leading Islamic banks in Algeria. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling through Smart PLS. The results found that only communication and customization are related to trust, and reputation positively related to commitment. Communication and service quality significantly predicted customer loyalty. In addition, the results provided a substantial support that trust and commitment acts partially as the mediators on the relationship between relationship marketing tactics and customer loyalty. Findings also have contributed to new knowledge of evaluating a model of relationship marketing tactics with the role of trust and commitment on loyalty. Finally, it would be useful to examine more variables; future research can include different tactics such as reciprocity, tangible rewards, direct contact, value proposition, and customer satisfaction as well.
