In 1964 Nola Warren was a young missionary with three small children, a wonderful marriage and a growing ministry. One day her husband, Jerry Witt, flew away in his airplane to do what he loved to do in his ministry--distribute Bibles to the most remote villages of Mexico. Jerry never came home. He was killed in an airplane crash that has never been completely explained or resolved.Even though she spoke very little Spanish at the time, Nola obeyed God and remained in Mexico to continue the work Jerry had begun. She felt very inept and could not understand why God has chosen her. But God reminded her that "the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than men's strength"(1 Cor. 1:25, NIV). About the author: Nola Warren and her second husband, Frank live in Durango, Mexico, where they are supervisors of more than twenty congregations. Together they have helped develop many ministries, and they continue to do missionary work in many parts of Mexico. Nola is also recognized as an international speaker and has authored two best-selling books in Spanish.

Nola's first published book, which I highly recommend to readers, is a testimony to the importance of the preeminent values of trust and faith. As a writer she communicates in an engaging style, producing many powerful and deep insights dressed in the cloak of humor." -H.E . The Hon Robert. L. Morris, Barbados Ambassador to CARICOM and the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) This work represents a journey into a previously under-explored aspect of our spirituality. This book is a must-read, particularly for those of us who are engaged in our own struggles with a humanity that needs to be taught the lesson of faith." -Pedro L.V.Welch (Professor) Dean (Faculty of Humanities), (UWI) "Personal, practical, pulsating and prayer-based, a life-story that will strengthen your faith in God, change your outlook on life and how to deal with the sometimes daunting but 'God-allowed' situations we often face." -Vincent Yearwood, Church Elder and Retired Business Leader "It gives me great pleasure to endorse this great feat of spiritual and emotional victory captured in almost 300 pages of beauty, style, and poise. Nola's commitment to 'share her journey' is beyond admiration. I unreservedly endorse this book as a divinely appointed and written testimony of inspiration, guidance and love." -Dr. Stephen Pilgrim, PhD, MCIM, MIMgt - Former Vice President (USC) "When God speaks, He desires obedience from the heart. This willing submission to God's Word is the golden vein of truth in this inspiring work. For that reason, I recommend it without hesitation. Obedience is life." -Pastor Randy Skeete, International Evangelist
Evidence-Based Practice for Nurses: Appraisal and Application of Research, Fourth Edition is an essential resource for teaching students how to translate research into practice.
Within the Education Revolution lies another, quieter revolution that attempts to raise the profile and status and learning outcomes of Australia's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Two Way Teaching and Learning addresses the interface where two cultures meet.
Evidence-Based Practice for Nurses: Appraisal and Application of Research continues to be an essential resource for teaching students how to translate research into practice in an updated sixth edition. Built upon the foundation of the five step IDP process (knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation), this comprehensive resource guides students through the hierarchy of evidence while interweaving concepts such as the evolution of nursing science, quality improvement projects and how they relate to evidence-based practice, as well as search strategies and how to choose a specific research design. Both students and instructors alike praise the organization and presentation of content from authors, Schmidt and Brown. They divided chapters into ‘bites', breaking down larger core concepts into smaller, easily digestible parts of the whole, ensuring nursing students grasp a key concept before progressing to the next.

Discovering Stained Glass in Detroit contains sixty examples of the area's stained glass treasures, each stunningly presented in full color.
