This book is a brutal expose’ of religion’s failure to keep and preserve our Godly American culture and the unconventional answer to restore the cultural soul that is rightfully ours to maintain. It exposes the history and spiritual influences behind the decline and the process Christians can follow to reverse that decline. Liberals may claim that they are godless Atheists, but the truth is, they are following the doctrines of Lucifer and following a game plan taught by followers of Lucifer. We are losing a spiritual battle by fighting with the tools of the flesh: logic, reason, emotion, science, and the law. We are bound to lose. We need to learn the rules and methods that have been proven to work spiritually against a ruthless spiritual opponent. Liberals know full well that they are fighting for the soul of our nation. We need to realize that the soul they are fighting for is the complete corruption and loss of the Godly soul our founding fathers tried to establish for our nation. It not only presents the problem but also provides the solution to our problem and the promise that the problem of ungodliness in our culture can be reversed. Godliness can be restored. We are also fighting for the soul of our nation. It is NOT the same soul that the Liberals are trying to preserve. They have corrupted our nation by deception. We can restore the national soul they corrupted with the truth.

From the time conference play began in 1905, the Big Ten was the Western force in collegiate basketball. Minnesota, Wisconsin and Purdue were the first powers in the league, with a combined 23 titles by 1930. Purdue was dominant in the '30s, with seven titles under Coach Piggy Lambert, including a national title in 1935 led by player of the year John Wooden. The creation of a national tournament in 1939 showed the league's early dominance, as a different Big Ten team went to the Final Four in each of the first three years, with two wins. Over the next 30 years, the league produced some of the top teams in the country, led by Hall of Fame coaches like Branch McCracken, Walter Meanwell, Dutch Lonborg, Harold Olsen and Fred Taylor. Top players emerged from the conference, like Jerry Lucas, Cazzie Russell, John Havlicek, Terry Dischinger, Walt Bellamy, Johnny Green, Lou Hudson, Archie Clark and a host of others. This book provides the first-ever basketball history of the Big Ten.

This account of the rice cooker's globalization aims to move away from Japan-centric perspectives on how "Made in Japan" products made it big in the global marketplace, instead choosing to emphasize the collaborative approach adopted by one Japanese manufacturing giant and a Hong Kong entrepreneur. The book also highlights the role Hong Kong, as a free port, played in the rice cooker's globalization and describes how the city facilitated the transnational flow of Japanese appliances to Southeast Asia, China, and North America. Based on over 40 interviews conducted with key figures at both National/Panasonic and Shun Hing Group, it provides a fascinating insight into the process by which the National rice cooker was first localized and then globalized. Interspersed throughout are personal accounts by individuals in Japan and Hong Kong for whom owning a rice cooker meant far more than just a convenient way of cooking rice. The book includes over 60 images, among them advertisements dating back to the 1950s that illustrate how Japanese appliances contributed to the advent of a modern lifestyle in Hong Kong.
