Her admiration and respect for nature radiates not only through her love of backpacking, but also through her expertise in gardening and bird watching. A true Renaissance woman, she is involved in a number of organizations and has also worked to fundraise for various nonprofits over the years. She loves cooking, reading, politics, crewel embroidery, baseball, and ice hockey. She is also the most trusted source for family gossip, relaying the latest stories and reports to and from her four children and ten grandchildren. She continues to reside in Columbus with her husband, Rocky, and their Brittany spaniel, Pepper.
