In the picturesque Montana countryside, an unexpected new threat is growing. Project Winter Roses, a biological experiment designed to enhance crop growth in Middle America, has taken on a life of it's own. A species of plant that can think, and adapt, as rapidly as man. Not content being confined, the roses multiply and are on the move, devouring everything in their path, including cities and towns.
