Richardson States that her viewpoint is "based on the values of the founders of our Republic." The founders, she notes, established our ideals of-individual freedom but gave final authority to the people who put their trust in God. In You Are God, she adroitly weaves, together secular and Spiritual subjects to help readers come to an "expanded understanding of current circumstances." She tackles the major challenges our nation currently faces, along with their causes and consequences, and then offers principled solutions. Before addressing the weighty topic of our nation's "current crisis of indebtedness," however, she begins, quite logically, at the beginning-who we are and from whence we came. We are "spiritual beings having a human experience, filled with intelligence of the highest order, or God." But we also have free will- "one of mankind's first gifts from the Creator"- and so she addresses the causes of our not living up to the "ideal of perfection." Book jacket.

As more and more people survive into old age, the burden of caring for them becomes greater and greater. Although it is now possible to alleviate many of the afflictions that beset mankind, no society can afford to pay for all the healthcare that is now available or technically possible. People working in healthcare increasingly have to do more with less. Rationing takes many forms, mostly covert, and the less privileged in most societies end up struggling to get their proper share of the available healthcare resources. All too often, those in the front-line have to deal with the consequences of this 'rationing by default': healthcare professionals find themselves rushed off their feet simply doing the basic tasks and completing all the paperwork; placing frail, sick people in ever lengthening queues, sometimes asking them to wait for hours in the middle of the night under uncomfortable and even unsafe conditions; and, worst of all, working under conditions they would rather avoid in which the safety margin for those they are caring for has been greatly diminished. We are all aware that under these conditions the chance of making a mistake which can seriously harm or even lead to the death of a patient is greatly increased. But what can be done about this? How can you be sure that you are doing the right thing when faced with having to practise an uncertain science on vulnerable patients in a complex system under ever-changing conditions? The different Islam sects are also examined. Vignettes are filled with historical references that reveal the development of Islam and Christianity over the years, including the blood spilled on all sides due to a false image of God 's nature. Ancients witnessed violence in volcanoes, earth quakes and other calamities and reasoned that an angry, vengeful deity must be the causethen, because Life is precious it would be a worthy sacrifice of such to appease God's wrath. Muslim hatred of Americans is analyzed as well as our life 's purpose. Many factual and philosophical discoveries are told in the action-packed sketches from the past, which include Biblical figures and other major contributors to human progress. Brief examples explain why the architects of America, like Thomas Jefferson, formed an ideal republic with individual freedom and justice, that gave citizens opportunities and the nation prospered. After watching the attack on America and destruction of the two World Trade towers, the author researched the cause for the hatred as evidenced. Her goal is to establish a bridge of understanding that can lead to peceful resolutions.
