After graduating from Furman University, she was a public relations assistant and a copy editor and layout specialist for The Commission, magazine of what was then named the Southern Baptist Foreign Mission Board (now International Mission Board) in Richmond, Va. She later taught English and journalism in Hermitage High School, Henrico County, Va., before moving to the faculty of the College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia, Athens. In the late 1900s and early 2000s, she owned a home business for magazine copyediting, article writing, and photography, as well as for editing and formatting books and plays for clients who wished to self publish. As for her knowledge of sports, she became a certified official in the Georgia Association of U.S.A. Track & Field while at the University of Georgia. Her gymnastics knowledge comes from watching the now 10-time national-champion University of Georgia women's teams and from research.

Indicated services: Providing assessment and direct care for youth with identified mental health needs. The approach of this Issue presents current evidence-based practice in schools and review of schools as a vital part of systems of care for youth. In addition to psychiatrists, this issue addresses collaboration with families, educators, administrators, social workers, counselors and psychologists. The Editors leading this issue are from Vanderbilt University and University of Maryland. Both Vanderbilt and Maryland have well-established clinical programs that provide a full continuum of mental health services, including "indicated services" to serve youth with mental health diagnoses (i.e., severe psychiatric disorders). Psychiatrists are part of the treatment team, and work directly in the school or provide consultation (often via telehealth technologies). Given that family engagement is a major part of making therapies work effectively, partnering with families is a critical part of the treatment process.

As long as none of his wards depend on him long term, because Nate doesnt plan on sticking around anywhere once his crusade ends. But staying sharp and playing reluctant guardian lands him squarely in reach of the very animals hes hunting and, most of all, their clever and elusive leader. Then abruptly, Nates life takes another series of blinding turns and the justice hes sought so long is on the line. But how can he risk letting a habitual killer smile and slip away again? Or must he, Nate, become the ultimate bait and sacrifice?
