Research objectives included (1) characterizing the current status of water utilities regarding CIS solutions, (2) identifying and documenting critical success factors (and barriers to success) related to CIS implementations, (3) documenting successful CIS implementations and associated practices, and (4) providing a CIS projects roadmap for utilities.
