While trying to think of whom he should give the myrrh to, Mendel drops it and the fragrant ointment spills onto his paralyzed legs. Mendel then realizes he can walk and run, for that is the Miracle of the Myrrh. The wonderful illustrations and entertaining text complement each other to create this beautiful children's Christmas tale.
