The text was born only to highlight the need, which has grown over time, to identify a precise line of study and recovery on an aspect of Lodi still unknown to many: its underground paths. To this end, an intense research conducted by the Authors on numerous historical, archaeological, literary and also technical sources towards a world that is about to be recovered and brought to the knowledge of all with a remarkable work conducted with great and fruitful commitment through the very active synergy of Local Institutions and Associations.
