This is a story about a small coal mining town. No town in particular; perhaps in West Virginia, Pennsylvania or Kentucky. It doesnt matter the location; its just one story of many about coal miners and their families. Thanks to the brave coal miners, who did and still do, risk their lives every day to give our country coal powered energy. Time has changed many things for the better. This story happened many years ago; and although fiction, Im sure that somewhere there were similar true events.
This story takes place at a place known as Maple Road. It rambles down into a town called Miners Gap. There is a cemetery and train tracks nearby. They become best friends, but a stranger causes much trouble for them. Later, there is an incident, and the people living in this area wonder Who is the ghost of Maple Road?

This book was an idea taken from the Bible, Proverbs 17:22, "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine." This is a book of various humorous poems that hopefully will give you a laugh or at least a smile. I hope this little book will give you a dose of clean, good-feeling fun!
