Linda battles her family, her sexuality, rival Mafia groups based on the East Coast. In the end she becomes the Dona or Godmother of The South. Faced with a choice for amnesty, she has to chose rather to give up her family to the Feds or face a lifetime in jail. Yet there is one key missing piece of her entrapped life; and only she knows where it is for her to earn her freedom.

From the United States' earliest days, African Americans considered education essential for their freedom and progress. Linda M.
