Incarcerated and awaiting his imminent execution, Jeremiah Morgan takes on the painful task of recording the sequence of events that put him behind the cruel iron bars of Death Row. In The Warburton Conspiracy, Jeremiah begins his story as a friendless orphan battling amnesia, a general suspicion of the world and its inhabitants, and an Irish temper hotter than the mid-July sun. Under the ever watchful and judicious eye of his caretakers at Visionhouse, Jeremiah deals with his inadequacies, and in the sensible and reclusive Stanley Tucker he at long last finds the strength of friendship and brotherhood. No amount of trust, however, can bring Jeremiah to tell anyone of his encounters with the ghostly apparition that seems to haunt his every step, and with whom he feels he has some profound, although unexplainable, connection. Haunting aside, Jeremiah sets his aim instead on the horizon, on his future and on solving the mystery of where he came from. What he finds, however, is a tale for the ages shrouded in love, betrayal, conspiracy and murder.
