It primarily deals with the extent of incidence of molds and mycotoxins and their impact on quality of rice and management practices to be adopted in Andhra Pradesh. Special emphasis is given to territrem B mycotoxin incidence and its biological effects. Efforts are made to devise suitable preventive and control measures of paddy moulds and mycotoxins. Reservoir fisheries development is most essential for quantum jump in inland fish production and socioeconomic up gradation of fishermen. However presently, the fish yield from the reservoir fisheries is frustratingly low, as observed by Sinha (2001). The strategy of enlargement of gear mesh size for capture, increases in fishing efforts and stocking support paid rich dividends in this area. The stocking necessitate the breeding population of economically viable species in the reservoirs. The opportunity needs to be used for establishing the native major food fishes that are compatible and hardy and amenable to the lentic environment of the reservoir, otherwise, the trash fishes multiply and occupy the large volume of water in grater abundance dominating the whole ecosystem. On the other side the native fish should find a natural place in the reservoir not only in point of view of adding to the total production and higher income but also as a biodiversity conservation measures. Sperata aor belongs to Bagridae family and is dispersed throughout Indian subcontinent .This cat fish is a popular food due to its good taste and high nutritional value. Recently, it has also made its entry in domestic ornamental fish markets of India and has been reported to have moderate export price (Sandipan Gupta,2015).

The Salmophasia fishes are included under the order – cypriniformes and belong to the family – Cyprinidae (Day, 1958). Most of the Salmophasia species are inhabitants of the tropical and subtropical waters. Man made reservoirs and lakes provide unique habitats for the fishery wealth of Karnataka. Reservoir ecosystems have been recognized for their great potential for fish production. At the present level of management, the average fish yield of Indian reservoirs is only between 10-16 kg/ha/year (Jhingran, 1991). The small reservoirs have the potential to yield more than 100-200 kg/ha. Siltation in the rivers and reservoirs, apart from diminishing the quantum of water flow results in the destruction of breeding grounds of fishes, migration of fishes and overall productivity of the reservoir. Siltation also affects the benthic population and the natural recruitment of fishes in the impounded waters. Reservoirs, like rivers are inevitably being affected by industrialization and urbanisation.

In recent years, a lot of work has been done in an effort to incorporate Swarm Intelligence (SI) techniques in building an adaptive routing protocol for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). Since centralized approach for routing in MANETs generally lacks in scalability and fault-tolerance, SI techniques provide a natural solution through a distributed approach for the adaptive routing for MANETs. In SI techniques, the captivating features of insects or mammals are correlated with the real world problems to find solutions. Recently, several applications of bio-inspired and nature-inspired algorithms in telecommunications and computer networks have achieved remarkable success. The main aims/objectives of this book, "Mobile Ad Hoc Networks: Bio-Inspired Quality of Service Aware Routing Protocols", are twofold; firstly it clearly distinguishes between principles of traditional routing protocols and SI based routing protocols, while explaining in detail the analogy between MANETs and SI principles. Secondly, it presents the readers with important Quality of Service (QoS) parameters and explains how SI based routing protocols achieves QoS demands of the applications. This book also gives quantitative and qualitative analysis of some of the SI based routing protocols for MANETs.

As a form of mass communication, cinema has the ability to shape the opinions and beliefs of the people. Kannada cinema is one of the cinema industries of India in which 'Social Concern and Democratic Thoughts' portrayal has been a crucial part since its inception. In this research, I have discussed how 'Social Concern and Democratic Thoughts' are mirrored in Upendra’s Films. This study mainly focuses on how Upendra's films often serve as a mirror image of the common man through 'Social Concern and Democratic Thoughts', offering a study of their struggles, aspirations, and societal impact. Upendra's distinctive narrative technique and intellectually stimulating themes provide a thorough analysis of the common man's position in society. Upendra creates unique and memorable characters that challenge stereotypes and defy expectations. Upendra frequently employs the technique of breaking the fourth wall in his films, wherein he directly addresses the audience. This approach enables him to effectively engage with the viewers, thereby blurring the distinction between fiction and reality, and transforming them into active participants in the storytelling process. Upendra's films frequently address social issues and offer social commentary. He fearlessly shows topics such as corruption, inequality, and societal norms. Through his narrative, he inspires viewers to challenge the status quo and engage in critical thinking about the world around them. Through his ‘Social Concern and Democratic Thoughts’, he originated a political party called the Uttam Prajakeeya Party (UPP) is also discussed.
