All Things to All People This is a book about God's wisdom to equip a man with skills (physician, pilot, preacher, and dentist) and then through His power to use that committed man to accomplish His will among a poverty laden and underprivileged Batonga tribe in the remote Zambezi Valley of Rhodesia, Africa. It is about God using a Christian medical doctor to relieve the physical suffering of the Batonga people who struggled against rampant innumerable tropical diseases in harsh environmental conditions. It is about how God protects his missionary servant while he preaches and treats during treacherous war times when freedom fighters and government soldiers did battle leading to collateral damage to helpless Batonga people. It is about how God enabled a missionary to communicate in the native language to train scores of Batonga to become deacons and evangelists of His Word. It is about how God blended the culture of an ancient tribe of Batonga people who lived in daily dread of anger from their ancestral spirits with the culture of Christian doctor from a foreign land. It is about how God used a missionary to solicit food aid from far away countries to save the Batonga from starvation during frequent droughts. It is about how God used an airplane and a missionary pilot to expedite the spread of the Gospel to vast remote areas devoid of roads and to facilitate delivery of medical care and food relief. It is about how God used that airplane to circumvent the threat of landmines and deadly ambushes that are no respecter of persons. It is about a tribe of gentle peace-loving people who responded enthusiastically to the message about Salvation in Jesus. It is finally about how God's message of love permeated to the far reaches of the Batonga people.
