Chapter 6 describes how traditionally phylogenetic trees have been constructed, and available sequence knowledge bases can be used to improve the accuracy of reconstructing phylogeny trees. He was a Molecular Basis of Disease fellow at Georgia State and is the recipient of the highest graduate honor at Georgia State, the William M. Suttles Graduate Fellowship. Xuan Guo, PhD, is a postdoctoral associate at Oak Ridge National Lab, USA. He received his PhD degree in computer science from Georgia State University in 2015. His research interests are in bioinformatics, machine leaning, and cloud computing. He is an editorial assistant of International Journal of Bioinformatics Research and Applications. Yi Pan, PhD, is a Regents' Professor of Computer Science and an Interim Associate Dean and Chair of Biology at Georgia State University. He received his BE and ME in computer engineering from Tsinghua University in China and his PhD in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Pan's research interests include parallel and distributed computing, optical networks, wireless networks and bioinformatics. He has published more than 180 journal papers with about 60 papers published in various IEEE/ACM journals. He is co-editor along with Albert Y. Zomaya of the Wiley Series in Bioinformatics.

The Hussar V was launched in the early 1930s, first built for Marjorie Merriweather Post, owner of General Foods and heir to the Post Cereals fortune. By 1935, when Post married Joseph Davies, US ambassador to the Soviet Union, the ship was renamed Sea Cloud, the name it holds to this day. Soon after the nation entered World War II, the ship was partnered with the military as a weather ship under the command of Lt. Carlton Skinner. Tales of the Sea Cloud tells the story of a luxury yacht that became a remarkable wartime experiment in racial integration. After having witnessed an African American sailor be denied a promotion because of the limits of segregation, Skinner proposed to the commandant of the Coast Guard a plan to sail with a fully integrated crew. Ultimately, eighty black sailors, including four officers, were stationed on the Sea Cloud. Skinner’s experiment demonstrated that an integrated crew could work just as, or even more, efficiently as a segregated one and set an important precedent for later civil rights reforms. Author Ken W. Sayers takes readers on the full journey of the Sea Cloud, from its beginnings with the multimillionaire Hutton family, its wartime involvement, and its postwar ownership by Rafael Trujillo—soon-to-be assassinated dictator of the Dominican Republic—to its use as a commercial cruise ship in Panama, its near-disastrous physical deterioration and restoration, and on to the present day as a luxury charter sailing yacht. Readers will be captivated by the fascinating story of this historic vessel.

Neat concrete or asphalt would make for a nicer st/roll. (Especially if youre driving an electric wheelchair instead of a pair of hairy, chimpanzee-like legs.) Neat versus dirty or clean versus clutter; control versus free spirit; sterility versus life. Same things. Dont get your foot caught between the extremes while becoming who you are. You will be forever changed even by the end of this paragraph. People must, of course, create their own meanings and reasons to live. At least most people. As a gladly-suffered screwball, I shouldnt cast too many aspersions upon the habits of the unreflecting herd; the others, content to follow the make-believe of yet others still, probably mill about semi-consciously, driven by various addictions, phobias and animal impulses. I am a bookwriting animal, however, and these art projects occupy the otherwise empty, meaningless hours of my life, when not pursuing various addictions, phobias and animal impulses.
