She currently resides in Huntington Beach, California, although her heart splits its time between Rochester, New York; California; and Europe. Kelly spends a lot of her time with friends that might as well be written in as her characters, and her characters that she knows as well as friends. After graduation, she plans to travel to experience more of God's glorious creation, as well as to be inspired for her next great story.

She is a recent world traveler, having eaten her way across Europe, and often, and sometimes unavoidably, enjoys British accents.
