However, they quickly discover that they are far from the only ones tracking her down. The terrifying Dirge have resurfaced with a vengeance, and their dark ambitions are growing. The villains are hunting for Rosie, but they are also desperate to locate another immensely powerful Great Uncommon Good object. Ivy, Seb, and Valian must race through the dangerous, dazzling world of Nubrook to find Rosie first. They have to outsmart the Dirge and secure the magical artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.
