AFRICAN AMERICANIZED is an actual safari of African immigrants, depicting the sort of struggles, challenges and experiences in which they are constantly hounded in, while in America, as a result of the historical dilemmas we are faced with in the pursuit of better livelihoods. In this book, an African man's life is portrayed in a modern clarification, indicating the central position they find themselves in as they evolve from the African way of life into Americanization painfully capitulating their own cultures. This has culminated into resultant bewilderment, dilemma and an egoistically regrettable life, leading to undesirable choices in their scramble to attain material, and sometimes academic wealth. My own safari to the United States of America sets a suitable example, portraying the newness, indecisiveness, and subsequent orientation to the American lifestyle. It never came easy because it was as good as reliving my life once again without the birth process and the essential stages of childhood, and physical, mental development. In this humorous American safari, I stand at the intersection of African values and heritage thus contrasting the African way of life with the American lifestyle. It is a sincere, painful experience considering the initial situation and dilemma in which African immigrants find themselves in upon arrival in America; the newness of the situation; a uniquely shocking way of life, and the subsequent orientation to Americanization.

When George Bywater, the vicar’s servant, is clubbed to death as he collects the parish tithes, the vicar undertakes to track his killer. Unfortunately, his efforts are thwarted at every turn. Threatened with violence, arrested and tried on three separate occasions, on charges that include murder, harbouring a felon and poaching, he is saved from transportation – or worse! – only by an act of God (naturally). He is hauled before the archdeacon and then the archbishop himself for carrying out his investigation at the expense of his pastoral duties. Forbidden to proceed as he wishes, he yet takes advantage of a tip-off from a local magistrate and a chance encounter with a reformed footpad to pursue his inquiries - in a pure spirit of duty, of course – and comes up with a peculiarly delicate challenge to his conscience. This light-hearted tale is the third Chronicle from Sherburn, in which Julius Falconer presents for the modern reader the absurd adventures penned by the hapless vicar. He knows the potency he put in you, He knows the acumen he put in you, and He knows you will not break under any weight or pressure. God knew you would be tried and tested, like Jesus was, but nothing will break you. God put in you a resilience power, when you are down you will easily rise up and carry on. He put in you a wake up power that puts you back in motion even in your weakest moment. He put in your heart a new song, a song of victory because when he formed you he knew you will be an over comer. That is why you never give up, that is why something inside you tells you to move on, carry on, don’t stop here. That is what this book is about; to provide you with a map quest that will guide you from the undesirable location you are at and provide you with ideas of how you can move on with your life. Regardless of how far you have gone into the rugged interior, you can begin again. You creator designed you with the ability to recharge yourself in times of turmoil, so that in place of giving up you can restart your life and carry on. I pray that this book will lead you to that point where you can ultimately recharge yourself, put your life together and carry on.
