An unintended side benefit in reading these will be a growing sense of the turbulent religious upheaval of his day, as equal to the extreme religious frenzy now possessing modern so-called churches. The screams, shaking, jumping, racket-making, arm-slinging, madness once noted in Scripture of the followers of Baal at Mt. Carmel, and the present-day Voodooism of the Caribbean somewhat identify the natural religion of this world's adoption, and falsely claim, to be "Christianity".
