John Penny's Books

Sergeant Penny was a jovial 40-something policeman in Cornwall. Dedicated to upholding the law, he took his position very seriously, but only up to a point. His one failing was that he sympathized with the wrecking gangs, who earned their living plundering wrecks around local beaches in spells of rough weather. Penny’s mentor and lifelong friend was Doctor Mays. Kate Kessell was another of Penny’s associates. Kate was pregnant with her seventh child when she survived the cholera pandemic of 1849 that took her six children and her husband. It was Kate who discovered the body of a young woman one foggy night as she was on her way home after visiting her pregnant daughter. The victim’s half-naked body was sprawled on the low wall of a bridge over the River Amble – with a fisherman’s knife protruding from her chest. This was Penny’s first serious case since becoming a policeman, one that would take all his detection skills to unravel a seemingly perfect crime.

This book traces the post-war development of gas turbine engines for use in passenger cars and commercial vehicles in the UK, Germany, Italy and the USA. It is based on interviews with leading engineering figures of the day as well as reports by journalists. The work also contains photographs of engines and vehicles as well as diagrams of various gas turbine engines.

Based on my beliefs and spiritual experiences, I truly believe we all have missions we need to accomplish in our lives. I also believe if you have a true heart, then you must be a reborn angel from Shambhala or other paradises, no matter what your background is.

Johnny and Penny are a couple that are meant to be together, and destiny brings them together. From day one, they realize they are a perfect match for each other. They do well as a couple, but they need something else-Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. People try to reach them for Jesus, but they keep to themselves since they do not want to get involved in issues people would fight over. This causes them to be left behind when the Rapture happens, but realizing the situation they are in, they accept Christ as their Savior. Since they realize they are enemies of the state, they resist as best as they can in addition to helping people that need it in addition to spreading the Gospel of Christ. Through paying attention to God's Word, they are able to survive the great tribulation till the Second Coming of Christ and live in the millennium.
