In the decades since its initial publication in German in 1978, Polychrome Sculpture has come to be widely regarded as a watershed text on the making and meaning of European medieval and Baroque painted wood sculpture. An early proponent of interdisciplinary research, Johannes Taubert played a pioneering role in combining the rigorous scientific analysis of materials with a fuller understanding of form and function, an approach that has led to the development of technical art history as practiced today. Many of the essays in this volume apply such scientific techniques as microscopic analysis to an art-historical understanding of Romanesque and late Gothic wood sculpture, revealing that, far from serving a merely decorative function, the painted surface of these works was intricately connected to their meaning. The paint layers on the sculptures, for example, which the author spent years documenting through close examination and analysis, were intended to impart a heightened sense of reality to the life-sized sculptures, thereby enhancing the viewer’s experience of worship. Taubert believed it was crucial for conservators to understand this context before undertaking any treatments. No other book offers such a focused, subtle, and interdisciplinary examination of the subject as Polychrome Sculpture. This influential work is now available in English for the first time, in a meticulous translation enhanced and updated by new color illustrations, annotations to the original text, and a new introduction.

The objective of the Holy Bible, the Sacred Scriptures, 27th edition, volume III, is to revoke all falsifications in today's Bibles known so far (the New Testament), and to restore the original state of the verses as far as possible. In the present work, you will find from "The Letter to the Hebrews" to "The General Letter of Judah", also "The Book of Daniel" and "The Book of Revelation", in which the verses are written in German and English, as well as an appendix with various elaborations and statements, etc. (see the table of contents). There is both a German and an English edition in which the attachments are available in the respective selected language. This is a English version. Other important parts of this work are focused on "The Doctrine of the Trinity", "The holy Name of our God", "The Name of His Son and the Significancy", "The Falsification of the Resurrection Day", "The Ttatements of Dr. Martin Luther and the Reformers", "The official Statements of the Clergy in Rome", "The full validity of God's Law" as well as detailed explanations by the English reformers, falsifications in the Holy Bible, false doctrines, etc. The author was born in 1963 in North Rhine-Westphalia and completed a traineeship for wholesale and foreign trade in a pharmaceutical wholesale company. In the course of his professional development, he used to be a freelancer but was also officially employed; he has experienced a lot rises and falls throughout his life. While studying the Scriptures, he was led by the Spirit of the only God, the Almighty and the only Holy Father in heaven, whereas, by grace, he could recognize many things that are now presented as heresies to the world. In recent years he has been active in the proclamation of the Word of God in Europe, particularly in Brazil (South America), and has enlightened many people by his message, so that they get to know the true God, His holy name and His will and only obey Him – and start to think about all this, i. e. "so that they finally decide themselves in favour of the living God, instead of against Him, and their names are not erased from the divine 'Book of Life' forever.

Captures the learning process of Nazi-era literary exiles following in the footsteps of legendary literary exemplars of exile. Exile is as old as humanity itself but a radically new fate for the "novice" exile, who falls into a world about which personal experience can tell him nothing. He does, however, know a great number of stories -- myths, legends, allegories, biblical or historical accounts -- about exile. The novice's search for a foothold initiates a learning process in which the exilic tradition assumes a major role. The present book captures this learning process: it is a cultural history of exile as it was experienced by thousands of German and Austrian writers and intellectuals who opposed National Socialism: among them Brecht, Canetti, Seghers, Remarque, the Manns, and Ludwig Marcuse. It shows how, slowly, exile becomes a reality through the growing awareness of -- and reference to -- the exemplary figures of a shared fate. Scores of fellow travelers, from the mythic figures Odysseus and Ahasverus ("The EternalJew") to writers such as Heinrich Heine and Victor Hugo, frame the experience of exile, imbuing it with meaning, giving it depth, and even elevating it to a "High Moral Office." They frequently make appearances in the narratives of the Nazi-era exiles. The Russian-American exile poet Joseph Brodsky called writers in exile "retrospective and retroactive beings." What their retrospective gazes yield as they search for meaning in banishment is at the heart ofthis book.. Johannes F. In recent years he has been active in the proclamation of the Word of YAHWEH Elohim (G-d) in Europe, Canada, particularly in Brazil (Central and South America), and has enlightened many people by his message, so that they get to know the true God, His holy name and His will and only obey Him (Exodus 20:2-11) – and start to think about all this, i. e. “so that they finally decide themselves in favour of the living Elohim (G-d): YAHWEH, instead of against Him, and their names are not erased from the divine 'Book of Life' forever.” “For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel {today the spiritual Israel} after those days, says YAHWEH; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their heart: and I will be their Elohim {G-d}, and they shall be my people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know YAHWEH! for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” (Heb. 8:10-12) “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience, that, after you have done the will of YAHWEH, you might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith: But if he draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” (Heb. 10:35-38) “Yes truly, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of the Messiah Yahshua my Master: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win the Messiah, and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith in the Messiah, the righteousness which is from YAHWEH by faith.” (Phil. 3:8-9)
