Today, that journal has been preserved as Carter's legacy and has become the origin and foundation to their own 501c3 charitable organization""Cancer Kiss My Cooley. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this book will be donated to CKMC, whose mission is to provide tailored-made moments for children diagnosed with brain cancer.
