This is an 872 page New Testament Study Bible with footnotes written from a Landmark Baptist point of view on Church Truth. It is a work completed by several cooperating contemporary Ordained Elders of the Landmark Baptist Faith. It is available in Hard Back, Soft Back and in Electronic Format. The King James Version drew heavily from the Tyndale and Coverdale translations of the New Testament. Tyndale and Coverdale translated the Greek term ekklesia as congregation. However, King James ordered his translators (within his 15 rules to the translators), not to translate ekklesia but instead to use the ecclesiastical term church. All contributors to the Landmark Study New Testament are thankful to be free from the rules of a human King for this edition. We trust and pray that the great King of Kings will bless this effort to His honor and glory. We humbly present the Landmark Study New Testament for the edification of Gods elect and a clearer understanding of New Testament Ecclesiology. The KJV text remains intact here except where they did not translate ekklesia and baptizo by order of King James. We have also added "Modern English" words in brackets next to some of the "Elizabethan English" words that some call "archaic". Elder Larry J. Killion.

People of faith, family, & community are urged to support same gender couples by validating their committed partnership; however, nearly 50% of American citizens and church members do not support legalizing same gender marriage. This historical perspective on marriage reveals marriage has experienced considerable positive change and practice during the past 75 years and needs to be redefined. Until the 20th century procreation (be fruitful and multiply) was marriages major purpose. While procreation remains important, mutuality has become the major emphasis. As written in Genesis 2:18 (NRSV), God sought a partner for the man. In many marriages partnership has replaced patriarchy, providing an enriching relational experience in family life. The author presents a new relational paradigm which includes both heterosexual and homosexual couples seeking a lifelong committed relationship. Marriage of male and female and the union of same gender couples will share the title, partnership safeguarded by the same legal standards. For male and female, their title will be a marital partnership; for same gender couples their title will be a same gender partnership.

The authors in this compilation address the issue of legalism from a variety of angles. John MacArthur shows, first that obedience to God is not an issue of legalism, but an issue of love. In his second chapter, he deals with the inevitable response of people who are confronted with Biblical standards, "Judge not that ye be not judged." Here MacArthur shows what our Lord meant when He said that, and shows what biblical discernment really is, that there is a vast difference between judgmental and holding people accountable to God's standards. Phil Johnson, in his first chapter, deals with Christian liberty. In his second chapter, he takes a critical look at two kinds of legalism, then explores the relationship of Christian love and Christian liberty. Joel Beeke shows that enthusiasm for God's law is not necessarily legalism. One can be zealous without being legalistic. As David wrote: "Oh, how I love Thy Law!" Bruce Bickel explains that legalism is due to a weak understanding of what Christ accomplished on the cross. Jim Elliff makes clear that legalism is an attack on unity within the Body of Christ, particularly local congregations. Ken Talbot helps us to see that legalism is inconsistent with and incompatible with the doctrine of justification by faith alone. He points out that the doctrine of "free will" leads to this dangerous position. Rick Phillips explores the relationship to loving God and obeying His law. Some today believe that love is all that matters, and that the law as a guideline to love is extinct. Then this author shows that Biblical sanctification is the antidote to and the opposite of legalism. Steven J. Lawson shows that legalism is the result of holding to man-made traditions over the truth of God's Word. Second, he points out how dangerous and deadly a thing legalism is and why. Why We Don't Shoot the Wounded makes the case for the redemption and restoration of fallen church leaders and members, rather than ostracizing them through shame and guilt, or forcing them to permanently step down from their calling within a faith community. The author cites biblical precedents in the lives of leaders in Israel and the Church, and retells the story of the God who seeks to restore, and who calls all of us to become the Church who heals the wounded. Church members, he says, need to be equipped to respond when one of their own "is overtaken by a trespass, to restore such a one with a spirit of gentleness." This is done within the context of naming the sin, lifting the shame, guilt and secrecy surrounding church scandals, and then moving through the process of forgiveness, healing, accountability and restoration. Jim Reynolds holds a bachelor's and a master of divinity degree from Abilene Christian University (1964, 1967), a doctorate from the Graduate Theological University, Berkeley, Calif. (1974), and a law degree from SMU (1981). He has been a licensed marriage and family counselor, and has published numerous articles and books, including Secrets of Eden, God and Human Sexuality (1974), The Lepers Among Us (2007), and The Lavish Hospitality of God (2009). Jim has taught religion, theology, philosophy, and biblical studies at Pepperdine University and the University of Texas, and presently is an adjunct professor at Dallas Christian College. He also does mediation for Dale O'Neall and Associates in Fort Worth, Texas. From 1981 to 2007, Jim was a family lawyer and partner with the Whitaker Chalk law firm in Fort Worth, Texas. Since 1984 he has been pastor of Lake Highlands Church in Dallas, Texas. Jim and his wife, Donna, have two children and eight grandchildren.

I decided to put what I learned into a book to teach others the real truth about the tribulation and what will happen in the Last Days. They say what you don’t know can’t hurt you. I found out that’s a lie. There are things you need to know before the tribulation starts. This book is about the Tribulation, culminating in the Battle of Armageddon, and the 1000 reign of Christ on Earth, occurring in the near future.
