This book mainly focuses on the sampled-data control of logical networks. We believe that the methods (semi-tensor product of matrices), results (recent results on Boolean control networks under periodic sampled-data control, Boolean control networks under aperiodic sampled-data control, and logical control networks under event-triggered control) and topics (logical networks) in this book have become of particular interest to readers recently. Firstly, logical networks are of interest due to their rich range of applications in biology, game theory, coding, finite automata, graph theory, and other fields. Secondly, semi-tensor product of matrices offers a useful tool for formulating, analyzing and designing controllers for logical networks. Moreover, this book is the first to introduce sampled-data control into the study of logical control networks. All research results in this book are novel and worthy of further study. The book’s content is divided into three parts (Boolean control networks under periodic sampled-data control, Boolean control networks under aperiodic sampled-data control, and logical control networks under event-triggered control), which essentially progress from easier to more difficult. In addition, corresponding examples and diagrams are included in each section to facilitate understanding.
This book aims to explain how collective behavior is formed via local interactions under imperfect communication in complex networked systems. It also presents some new distributed protocols or algorithms for complex networked systems to comply with bandwidth limitation and tolerate communication delays. This book will be of particular interest to the readers due to the benefits: 1) it studies the effect of time delay and quantization on the collective behavior by non-smooth analytical technique and algebraic graph theory; 2) it introduces the event-based consensus method under delayed information transmission; In the meantime, it presents some novel approaches to handle the communication constraints in networked systems; 3) it gives some synchronization and control strategies for complex networked systems with limited communication abilities. Furthermore, it provides a consensus recovery approach for multi-agent systems with node failure. Also, it presents interesting results about bipartite consensus and fixed-time/finite-time bipartite consensus of networks with cooperative and antagonistic interactions.

In this book, by using the way of weight functions, the parameterized idea and technique of Real and Functional Analysis, we introduce multi-parameters and provide three kinds of double Hilbert-type inequalities with the general measurable kernels and the best possible constant factors. The equivalent forms, the reverses and some particular inequalities are obtained. Furthermore, the operator expressions with the norm, a large number of examples on the norm, some composition formulas of the operators, and three kinds of compositional inequalities with the best possible constant factors are considered.
