Is it not in the book of Hosea that the Bible says, “my people perish for lack of knowledge”? No wonder that, in the first chapter of the book of Ephesians, Paul made a very crucial statement, which was more of a prayer than advice; that God should give us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him. He went further to pray that our eyes of understanding may be enlightened. Why? Because so long as the cloak of darkness hovering over you is not unveiled, the truth or rather mysteries embedded in the Word of God would not be of use to you. The spiritual eyes that are covered cannot appreciate the fact that Satan has a network of coordinated and highly disciplined “disciples” who are empowered to wage deadly attacks on Believers and the promises of God for them. The intent is to either delay or, if they can, completely abort those wonderful promises from God. Believing that Satan does not exist or that Satan is powerless is the greatest deceit of all times. It’s also a sign that you, like many others, are still operating in the dark. This book teaches you how to pray the deliverance kind of prayer and remove the veil and the shackles Satan has put upon your spiritual eyes, preparing you, therefore, to enter the realm of the supernatural with the authority of God to disarm principalities and powers that are lording over your blessings. This doctoral thesis provides evidence that during the later part of the first century, certain Jewish Christians, who produced and propagated the Fourth Gospel, were perceived to be blasphemous and therefore "cut off" (karet) from the synagogue as reflected in John 9:22, 12:42, and 16:2. This study reviews recent research on blasphemy, offers analysis based on hundreds of ancient Jewish texts, and examines seven Jewish traditions pertaining to blasphemy, including cursing God, naming The Name, and sinning with a high hand. A composite portrait of blasphemy is sketched and compared with the theological claims of the Fourth Gospel. Three theological claims of the Fourth Gospel stand out as potentially blasphemous: Jesus is equal with God, Jesus and the Johannine Community constitute the New Temple, and Judean religious leaders are not of God. The perception of blasphemy and the inability to tolerate it explains why some Jewish Christians could not remain in the synagogue.

This book, Principles of Modern Radar, has as its genesis a Georgia Tech short course of the same title. This short course has been presented an nually at Georgia Tech since 1969, and a very comprehensive set of course notes has evolved during that seventeen year period. The 1986 edition of these notes ran to 22 chapters, and all of the authors involved, except Mr. Barrett, were full time members of the Georgia Tech research faculty. After considerable encouragement from various persons at the university and within the radar community, we undertook the task of editing the course notes for formal publication. The contents of the book that ensued tend to be practical in nature, since each contributing author is a practicing engineer or scientist and each was selected to write on a topic embraced by his area(s) of expertise. Prime examples are Chaps. 2, 5, and 10, which were authored by E. F. Knott, G. W. Ewell, and N. C. Currie, respectively. Each of these three researchers is rec ognized in the radar community as an expert in the technical area that his chap ter addresses, and each had already authored and published a major book on his subject. Several other contributing authors, including Dr. Bodnar, Mr. Bruder, Mr. Corriher, Dr. Reedy, Dr. Trebits, and Mr. Scheer, also have major book publications to their credit.
