Francisco Guerrero, or better known to his friends as Cisco, is a young teenager who lives life on the edge by vandalizing, stealing, fighting, sleeping around, drinking and smoking his days away. Mary, Cisco's single mother, is a struggling immigrant in search of a stable life with her one and only son. She pleads with him to change his ways, but Cisco refuses to listen to anyone, including Erika, his loving loyal girlfriend. Cisco's life is altered forever when he and his friends decide to enter and vandalize the highest, largest, oldest, and most dangerous abandoned building in Oakland, California. While inside the large structure they enter a shopping mall that has been deserted for ten years. Nothing in their young lives prepares them for what they uncover inside that abandoned mall. After the hellish storm that was brought on by that fateful day subsides, Francisco discovers the meaning of true redemption.
