The root cause of the unrest in the world today is due to a lack of justice found at every level of society. Only by recognizing its Creator, can mankind hope to establish true justice and usher in an era of individual, communal, and global peace. This brief treatise is a transcript of the concluding address by Hazrat Mirza Masoor Ahmad (aba), Fifth Successor the Promised Messiah (as) and Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, at the Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK held on August 23, 2015.
Khutbah Ilhamiyyah (‘The Revealed Sermon’) is an Arabic sermon delivered by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah(as), on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. On that very morning of 11 April 1900, he had received the Divine revelation, ‘Today you will deliver the speech in Arabic; you have been endowed with this ability.’ Accordingly, he stood up before a live audience of approximately 200 people and began to deliver the sermon ad lib. A stream of eloquently structured sentences in the Arabic language began to flow forth in rapid succession, highlighting the nature and essence of the Islamic philosophy of sacrifice. We present here the actual text of the sermon as transcribed by two audience members while the sermon was simultaneously being delivered. Khutbah Ilhamiyyah is an insightful read for anyone seeking to behold a Divine miracle in all its grandeur and glory, and the profound mysteries deeply embedded within the Arabic language.
An English translation of the Friday Sermon delivered by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV(rta) on September 6th, 1985 at The Fazl Mosque, London. When Allah began the creation of the universe with a single word, “Be,” He ensured that the vast expanse would contain all the necessary ingredients for physical life. But what of the ingredients for spiritual life? For spiritual life, Allah has given us His words in the Holy Quran, and He continually creates human embodiments of His words. Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad(rta), the fourth Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, delivered a sermon at the passing of Hazrat Muhammad Zafrulla Khan(ra), a companion of the Promised Messiah(as). In this sermon, he describes the high spiritual qualities exhibited by Hazrat Zafrulla Khan(ra), elucidates his rank as a word of Allah, and asks his listeners to become words of Allah themselves.
Held under the auspices of Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, The Promised Messiah and Mahdi (as). February 2, 1900 was the day of Eidul-Fitr. Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, advised the members of the Jama’at to hold a meeting on that day and offer prayers for the success of the British government. In his address, he commented on the chapter An-Naas of the Holy Qur’an and reminded the audience of the duties they owed to the government, especially because of the goodness of the government which it had displayed in various ways. After the address, he told the gathering to pray for the victory of the British government in the battle that was being fought in Transvaal and then led a silent prayer for this purpose. Some amount was collected to be sent for the injured in this battle. This gathering of the Jama’at came to be known as the Prayer Meeting.

The United States has been plagued with issues of racial tension since its inception and the issue of racial inequality continues to be at the heart of unrest within the country. The Detroit Address is a Friday Sermon delivered by Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad(rh), the Fourth Khalifah of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, on October 16th, 1987, in Detroit to the members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. In it, he pinpoints factors that have caused racial tension in some communities in the United States, and presents Islam’s longstanding rejection of the notion that any one race if superior to another. The root cause of tension between Pakistani and African American Ahmadis is found to be an inferiority complex in some members of the Community. Giving the example of the people of Nuh(as) [Noah], Ahmadis are warned that failure to change their ways and adopt mutual love and compassion between one another will result in an unfortunate fate for both themselves and their nation. He admonishes the American members of the Community to break the chains of societal and psychological oppression by urgently re-examining their way of life in light of the character of the Holy Prophet of Islam(sa).
This book is a compilation of wisdom-filled exhortations and beautiful advice from our leader, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his Helper) on ways to safeguard ourselves from the moral ills spreading in the society due to the irresponsible use of Social Media in the current age. Thirty-one years after the Waqf-e-Nau initiative was launched, there are now over 61,000 Waqf-e-Nau in the world. In the hopes that they will serve the Community in various capacities, these young devotees are placed into the initiative by their parents. Yet, despite having a large number of children enrolled in the initiative, many are unaware of the true significance of being Waqf-e-Nau. The Essence of Waqf-e-Nau is a translation of a Friday Sermon delivered by the worldwide head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad(at) on October 28th, 2016. In this sermon, His Holiness espouses the true essence of the Waqf-e-Nau initiative. The purpose is to raise children to be devotees of the Community, those who are willing to lay down their lives and spiritually attain lofty heights, just as the companions of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa) had done. Having a Waqf-e-Nau child does not deem any merit on its own. His Holiness stresses the point that these children are not special just by being Waqf-e-Nau. Rather, they will be seen as special by Allah only if they uphold their responsibilities and become true, ardent servants of Allah. Just as Hazrat Maryam(as) devoted her unborn child in the way of God, it is the parent’s duty to raise their children with the proper intention and sincerity.
Siratul-Abdal (Hallmarks of the Saints) was penned in Arabic by Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah, peace be on him, in 1903. The book describes the distinctive qualities, morals, and virtues that set apart those who have made a holy change in themselves for the sake of God. Indeed, the life of the Promised Messiah himself is a compelling portrait of the characteristics of such holy personages. Siratul-Abdal is a masterpiece of the Arabic language, employing the most eloquent, powerful, and persuasive features of expression of classical Arabic. Although the eloquence of the original text simply cannot be reproduced in another language, every effort has been made to convey the message of the original Arabic text.

The landscape of Europe has changed drastically over the last few years. That which was a source of division in history is beginning to revisit the continent, threatening to jeopardise peace. Immigration is creating a stir amongst all classes as Europe questions the repercussions, both social and economic, that emerge as a result. EU nations are ever more pondering over their own identity, as many try to hold on to their cultures in the face of an ever-diversifying society, ultimately leading to a rise in nationalism. In this book His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Khalifatul-Masih V(aba) addresses the major concerns that have arisen in Europe – over the last few years – in four keynote speeches delivered in Holland, France and Germany. In great detail he presents practical solutions to the issues faced by European society including the roles and responsibilities of both the state and immigrants. Most importantly he explains why Islam is indeed compatible with not just Europe but any society in the world.
Recently there has been an international conspiracy against Islam and its Holy Founder the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). To use vulgar language, obscene descriptions, distortion of the teachings of Islam and the noble character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, negative propaganda, blasphemous criticism of the most Noble of the Prophets, and Islam - all this is done in the name of free speech and western civilized values. The Imam and the Supreme Head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V delivered his Friday Sermon on September 21, 2012 at Baitul-Futuh Mosque in Morden, Surrey UK in response to the film "Innocence of Muslims" and the publication of cartoons in France depicting the Holy Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). In this Sermon His Holiness set out what our response as Ahmadi Muslims must be. In this booklet we are presenting the English translation of this Sermon for the guidance of every one.
The Holy Qur’an is replete with verses encouraging man to ponder over the natural order and intricacy of God’s creation. Though it has been the case for much of history that religion and science have hardly seen eye to eye, yet the Muslim scientists of the late-Middle Ages – by spearheading the intellectual advancement of mankind – proved that the Holy Qur’an and science were not opposites. The Golden Age of Islam is a period of history that the Muslim world feels proud of and there is a deep desire within every Muslim to once again witness that great age of scientific enlightenment. This book comprises of two addresses of His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad – Khalifatul-Masih V who is the leader of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, which were delivered at UNESCO (Paris) and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Researchers Association (AMRA) Conference 2019. In his addresses he not only draws upon the Islamic age of enlightenment, demonstrating the rich legacy of Islamic contribution to mankind’s progress, but urges Muslim scientists in today’s day and age to excel in the world of academia with the aim of serving mankind.
A compilation of selected addresses delivered by Syedna Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalīfatul-Masīh V (may Allah be his Helper), in which he has explained the Islamic teachings about hijab (purdah) in a very effective and convincing manner. This book contains the sagacious sayings about implementing the Qur’anic commandments of hijab in our everyday life and the refutations to criticisms against hijab.
The western world is seeing a rise in intolerance, hate, and violence. The media exacerbates this by painting inaccurate pictures of immigrants, minorities, and of Islam and Muslims in particular. Consequently, there is a pressing need for clarifying what Islam is and is not, so as to foster mutual brotherhood amongst people of all beliefs. In four speeches delivered during a tour of the United States and Guatemala, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, offers a formula for achieving peace in our communities, nations, and indeed throughout the world. His Holiness explains that the true purpose of mosques is to be a center of peace where Muslims join together in order to worship God Almighty and to serve humanity, irrespective of belief or background. Furthermore, the building of hospitals enables the service of mankind which itself becomes a form of worship. This cumulative spirit is the way to protect our future and enable us to leave behind a better world for our children.
This book is a collection of sagacious pronouncements of His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (may Allah be his Helper) giving solutions based on teachings of Islam to problems faced in domestic life. On 28 August 2020 Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih V (aba) delivered a Friday sermon on the role of the Promised Messiah (as) as Hakam and Adl as foretold by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa). In this sermon Huzoor (aba) expounded upon the status of the Rightly Guided Caliphs [Khulafaa-e-Raashideen] – especially in light of the allegations advanced by Shiites. In such a heated atmosphere of sectarian polemics it was the Promised Messiah (as) who was to appear and resolve all conflict within Islam. Hazrat Ameerul-Momineen, Khalifatul-Masih V (aba) has eloquently explained an important topic of debate within the Muslim Ummah. Therefore, we strongly urge all those who come across this publication to study the arguments advanced therein and to benefit from a scholarly treatise.
In 1889, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian claimed to be the same Promised Messiah and al-Mahdi about whom the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa) had given glad tidings. The Holy Prophet(sa) had prophesied that the important role of the Promised Messiah and al-Mahdi would be to revive faith and firmly establish the practice of Islamic law. When the Promised Messiah made his claim and invited all righteous souls to respond to his call, he published 10 conditions of bai’at for all who wished to join him with a covenant of allegiance. It is important for all Ahmadis to familiarize themselves with these 10 conditions. Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his helper) has explained these 10 conditions in the light of the Holy Quran, sayings of the Holy Prophet(sa) and the writings of the Promised Messiah(as) in various Friday sermons and speeches. These are being presented in the format of a book for the guidance of all Ahmadis and all those who want to learn about Ahmadiyyat the true Islam.

In a world plagued with intolerance for cultural, racial and religious differences, A Message of Peace serves as a panacea to the ills of the society. Prophetic in foresight and universal in scope, this book lays out a path to the peaceful existence of all humans based on the central theme of worshipping the One God. It is not surprising therefore that A Message of Peace forms the last work of a man who was destined to lay the foundation for the establishment of peace in this day and age and whose advent was prophesied in all major religions of the world-the Promised Messiah and Reformer of the Latter Days. "My countrymen!" writes the Promised Messiah, "A religion which does not inculcate universal compassion is no religion at all. Similarly a human being without the faculty of compassion is no human at all.
Every human being seeks salvation in some form or another. The concept of salvation holds pivotal importance in matters of religion. A faith unable to deliver its followers from sin is worthless, yet the progress and benefit of society depends on this very salvation. So where should one turn to attain it? In this work, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, explains that since human nature is weak, salvation can only be attained through a mediator who, owing to their perfect relationship with God and deep sympathy for humanity, can serve as a link between God and man. In every era, God has conferred salvation upon humanity through His prophets, but none can match the unparalleled status held by the Prophet of Islam in this respect, who was the paragon of perfection. In the present age, it is this pure and blessed prophet who is the only intercessor that can grant humanity a living relationship with God and free mankind from the shackles of sin. The author presents an exquisite exposition on the philosophy of divine intercession, sinlessness, forgiveness, human frailty and his advent as the Promised Messiah.
Part 4 of a Review of The Pakistani Government’s ‘White Paper’: Qadiyaniyyat – A grave threat to Islam In 1984 the Islamic government of Pakistan set aside all Islamic injuctions and took upon itself the burden of depriving the Ahmadi Muslims of many basic human rights including religious social freedoms. In an attempt to justify this action, the government of Pakistan published a so-called White Paper under the title ‘Qadiyaniyyat – Islam kay liya Sangin Khatrah’ (Qadiyaniyyat – A Grave Threat to Islam). Although there was nothing new in this so-called White Paper and the Jama’at literature already included detailed answers to all the issues which were raised, nevertheless Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV, the then Imam of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at, answered these allegations in a series of Friday sermons. These sermons (in Urdu) were published by the London Mosque in 1985 and the English translation is now being published. Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad, Khalifatul-Masih IV(rta) delivered this sermon on February 15, 1985 at the Fazl Mosque London and answered the allegations dealing with the true Islamic concept of Jihad by quoting the Holy Qur’an, the history of early Muslims, the writings of the Promised Messiah(as) and other historical references.

This is an English rendering of a speech delivered by Hazrat Mirza Bashir-ud-Deen Mahmood Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih II(ra) during the Annual Conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community on December 28, 1916 and reprinted in Urdu as Dhikri-Ilahi by the Fazl-e-Umar Foundation (Rabwah, December 1982). Dhikri-Ilahi shows a true understanding of the relationship between Allah, the Creator, and human beings in their search of Him. It is replete with points of wisdom on how that relationship can be nurtured through Dhikri-Ilahi — Remembrance of Allah. It is a treasure that will benefit all those who use it to inculcate a living relationship with their Creator.
The book was written by the Promised Messiah(as) on 20th August 1899 and published on 24th August 1899. In this brief exposition, the Promised Messiah(as) has presented, in a new light, the same views expressed in his book Tohfa-e-Qaisariyyah [A Gift for the Queen], which was written on the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty, Queen Victoria. In this book, the Promised Messiah(as) has once again commended the British government for granting peace, security and religious freedom to all its subjects. He has then refuted the false doctrine of the advent of a militant Messiah and Mahdi, who according to some, would presumably, coerce the world into accepting Islam. Furthermore, he has also beautifully removed misconceptions surrounding the concept of Jihad and clearly expounds that Islam was never spread by the sword, nor is religious compulsion permitted in Islam. The Promised Messiah(as) then goes on to beautifully explain that the Christian concept of atonement, which logically results in Jesus(as) bearing the burden of curse, is a dishonour to the pure and holy person of Jesus(as). Finally, the Promised Messiah(as) has presented his claim as being the Promised Messiah and Mahdi of the latter days, awaited by all world religions.
A Misconception removed is an English translation of Eik Ghalati Ka Izala written by the Promised Messiah (as) in 1901. The book addresses the issue of the true nature of the Promised Messiah's (as) status as a Prophet and Messenger of God and explains at length how his Prophethood does not in anyway contravene the concept of Khatm-e-Nubuwwat. The verse of Khataman Nabiyyincontains a prophecy that none except a Zill of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) can come after him. The Zill is never independent of the original. It is written in the book of Hadith that the Promised Messiah will be like the Holy Prophet (sa). The belief that Jesus Christ himself will come to this world will change the connotation of Khataman Nabiyyin. Denial of a Nabi (Prophet) is tantamount to believing that this umma has been deprived of Divine address and converse. Only, door for a law bearing Prophet has been closed after the Holy Prophet (sa). The Promised Messiah (as) says: 'Whenever I have denied being a Prophet or Messenger, it has only been in the sense that I have not brought an independent law nor am I an independent Prophet.' The coming of a Prophet and Messenger in the form of Buruz (spiritual manifestation of a Prophet) is substantiated by the Holy Quran.
