Therapeutic Monoclonal Antibodies: From Lot Release to Stability Testing is a highly topical resource on a subject of interest for scientists and researchers working on monoclonal antibodies' characterization, release testing, stability testing and similarity assessments of monoclonal antibodies in the biopharmaceutical industry. Monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) are large, extremely complex and dynamic biomolecules, so it can be challenging to develop well-characterized therapeutic antibodies that meet regulatory expectations that are also in-line with commercialized standards for different drug markets. Lot release testing and understanding the stability of the mAb over a period of time, and in different environmental conditions, is an indispensable aspect of mAb physicochemical characterization. This book covers the process, including extensive analysis that starts with quantifying the purity attribute to glycan profiling and identifying the mAb primary structure. The book has a primary purpose of focusing on both Lot release testing and stability testing of monoclonal antibodies (subjects not covered in any great detail in other books). - Discusses, in detail, the Lot release methods for both drug substance and drug product, along with their importance in process sample analysis - Gives specific attention to general characteristics tests, such as pH determination, osmolality, sub-visible particle count, appearance and visible tests, and regulatory/pharmacopeial guidelines - Includes different kinds of stability testing (real time, accelerated and stressed) and their importance and determinations on product shelf life - Presents regulatory guidelines on ICH Q2R1, ICHQ6B and ICHQ5C, which are discussed along with analytical method validation, monoclonal antibodies physicochemical characterization and stability testing - Provides different characterization methods and validation and development case studies of monoclonal antibodies, including biosimilars and innovators
This research revolves around the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning in Indian industries. The ERP system stands for enterprise resource planning. It is fundamentally a data framework that joins distinctive subsystems into one framework. This operation is called integration. For example, an association has three fundamental data frameworks. The main framework handles HR; the second framework handles finance; and the third framework handles manufacturing. ERP integrate these three subsystems into one system that shares information among these subsystems. In other words, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is described as an "information system package that integrates information and information based processes within and across functional areas in an organization”. The ERP framework ought to enhance efficiency for organization.
Lean Manufacturing is defined as efficient approach to identifying and eliminating waste (non–value add activities) through regular improvement flowing the product in the pull of the customer in reach of perfection. Lean manufacturing is often simply "lean", is a systematical method for the leave out of waste ("Muda") within a manufacturing system. Lean also takes into account waste created through overwhelm ("Muri") and waste created through imperfection in workloads ("Mura"). Working from the angle of the client who consumes a product, "value" is any action or process that a customer want to pay for. “ To solve the problem of waste, Lean Manufacturing has number of tools at its disposal. These include continuous process improvement the ‘5 Ways’ and mistake-proofing. Thus it can be seen as taking a very similar approach to other improvement procedure.”

The analysis of the data collected was performed using PASW STATISTICS 18 software. The internal consistency was measured of the questionnaire. Croanbach's alpha is a measure of internal consistency, that is, how closely related a set of items are as a group. The Croanbach alpha indices were evaluated for overall questionnaire. The surveyed respondents were assessed on various statements based on the parameters of Six sigma. The data was collected from the respondents on four point scale regarding the implementation of various issues i.e. not at all, to some extent, reasonably well and to a great extent. On further analysis it was evident that multi skilling of workers is reported to a reasonable extent in 29.09% organizations and to a great extent in 41.81%. project managers being assisted by operators is reported to a reasonable extent by 27.27% and to a great extent by 38.18%. on the issue of maintenance quality circles reported to a reasonable extent by 43.63% and to great extent by 34.54%. Maintenance and quality record keeping is reported by 29.09% to reasonable extent and by 49.09% to great extent. Similarly, broader job perspectives and employee empowerment is reported to a reasonable extent by 47.27% and to a great extent by 29.09%. Unlike these, reduction in total product defects is reported by 32.72% and 0.40% to reasonable extent and to great extent respectively.
Competencies are significant both for Organization and for employees. Competencies are further-looking. They illustrate the skills and attribute staff and managers will require in order to build new organizational traditions and meet future challenge. They assist organizations elucidate expectations, describe future development needs, and do more focused recruitment and development planning. Competencies offer a sound basis for trustworthy and objective performance standards by creating common language about what is required and expected in an Organization. The term "competency" refers to amalgamation of skills, attributes and behavior that are openly related to doing well performance on the job, which are considered important for all employees of the Organization, in spite of their function or rank.
