Hank Klimitas - a retired veterinarian and a double lung transplant survivor - recounts the first few days after Katrina while he lives in the second floor of his flooded home in Lakeview. He admittedly was unprepared, but with a positive attitude, he describes the Robinson Crusoe-like challenges he faced. Best of all, it is a Katrina thriller with a happy ending.
