Sarah's father was a Christian minister who gave Alex excellent advice about growing to adulthood. He encouraged Alex to become a minister. Alex was from a family that could not afford any expense for University. He joined an Army Reserve Company to earn some money for family and education expenses. During one combat mission in Afghanistan he was captured and spent eleven months in a Muslim POW camp. That event caused extreme emotional confusion for him and his relationship with God. His path to redemption with God brought issues that could be helpful to others who really seek a relationship with God. It also discusses issues that others might find helpful during their journey through Jesus to God.

That night as Anthony walks Bret to his room, the body of a murdered staff member is discovered near Brett's room. Brett sees someone leaving the area, but can't make out what the individual looks like. The killer, however is able to see Brett clearly under the overhead light over the room door and Brett becomes a target of the man's dark, twisted mind. Within 24 hours, the body of a guest is found in the parking lot of a nearby strip mall, adding to the already tense atmosphere of the resort. While being interviewed by the detective, Brett relates what he saw and the detective, in addition to searching for the killer, now knows he has to protect Brett. As the complex plot evolves, a possible suspect is identified and pursued, but he himself almost becomes a victim and helps in leading the detective to the real killer. Will Brett survive? Will he and Anthony remain together? Will the killer be found and arrested? Raven's Blood explores a significant experience in the life of a man who takes a chance and leaves his comfort zone to find himself thrust into a web of revenge and murder.

The unprecedented economic success of South Korea since the 1990s has led in turn to a large increase in the number of immigrants and foreign workers in Korean industries. This book describes and explains the experiences of discrimination and racism that foreigners and ‘new’ Koreans have faced in a multicultural South Korea. It looks at how society has treated the foreigners and what their experiences have been given that common discourse about race in Korea surrounds issues of Korean heterogeneity and pure blood nationalism. Starting with critiques of Korean scholarship and policy framework on multiculturalism, this book argues for the need to revisit the most fundamental aspect of multiculturalism: the host population’s ability to respect new comers rather than discriminate against them. The author employs a critical realist understanding of racism and attempts to identify long-lasting institutional factors which make Korean society less than welcoming ‘new’ or temporary Koreans. A large number of new reportages are identified and systematically analysed based on the principles of grounded theory method. The findings show that nouveau-riche nationalism and pure-blood nationalism are widely practised when Koreans deal with ‘foreigners’. As a newly industrialised and highly successful nation, Korean society is still in transition and treats foreigners according to economic standard of their countries of origin. As one of the very first books in English about foreigners’ experiences of Korean nationalism, multiculturalism and discrimination, it will be of great interest to students and scholars of Sociology, Ethnic studies, Asian studies, Korean studies, Media studies and Cultural studies.

Why not follow them and make it easier on yourself? The book is my commentary of examples from my life where it seemed I always did it the hard way. Taking the wrong road because I trusted my feelings instead of the trusted GPS (men never stop to ask for directions). I wrote this book from my failures and my search for truth to help others reach for wisdom in decision-making processes.
