There is also a lot more interesting characters in this book. I think one of my favorite parts of the book is the way the old Veterans step up to bat for their country once again. This book is both heartwarming and suspenseful. It is meant to honor all veterans that are serving, who have served, and will serve in the future for the United States of American Armed Forces. Could the state of America be because America has turned its back against God? However, because of the Americans wisdom and knowledge given to them by God, America will return to its greatness. This book is so interesting you will not want to put it down until you have finished reading it.

We experience with the pioneers bear hunts, making salt and cattle raids. Their lives are then torn by a bitter civil war. Their children join Union and Confederate armies to fight bloody battles against former family and friend. After the war lives are changed forever, some for the good, others not. Spies become lawyers, others head west, some return to their farms to forget what they have seen. Some go in search of treasure, others go off to school, and the rest choose sides once more in the ranks of the feudists. Life in the Eastern Kentucky Mountains moves on slow and separate, as it always has, until two world wars force the mountaineers from their homes. Differences are forgotten as the mountain people once more give their sons to the fight for freedom. America becomes a mass of industry to support the war effort. As veterans survive or die on distant battlefields, their wives learn how to work as independent leaders of the household. Here we see the power and resilience of the mountain women, their undying love of family and of their welcome knowledge of their own worth. The last chapters reflect on all that has been passed to the children of America through these forefathers: our strength, our love and our long forgotten Celtic ideas. The characters gave birth to a nation, freed it from its European ties, and reached out to touch the Pacific Ocean. It is the story of the individual, of the single soldier and of the unheard of farmer, the story of the common man and where we came from. It is the story of the long hunter, the spy and the treasure hunter in all of us.

James Byrd Foote enlisted as a private in Company A of the First Regiment, Georgia Regulars, just thirteen days after the surrender of Fort Sumter; transferred to Company C of the Seventh Georgia Infantry Regiment some four months later; and participated in engagements against the Yankees at Yorktown, Seven Pines, Oak Grove, Mechanicsville, Gainess Mill, Garnetts and Goldings Farms, Savages Station, Malvern Hill, Kellys Ford, Rappahannock Station, Thoroughfare Gap, Second Manassas, Ox Hill, Boonsborough, Sharpsburg, Suffolk, Gettysburg, Funkstown, Charleston, Chattanooga, Campbells Station, and Knoxville, where he was captured on November 28, 1863. After spending more than three months as a prisoner of war in several jails and military prison camps, he was forwarded from the Union Military Prison at Louisville, Kentucky, to Fort Delaware and was imprisoned there for 366 days before being delivered for exchange to the Confederate authorities at Boulwares and Coxs Wharves in Virginia during the three-day period of March 1012, 1865. He returned home to Dallas, Georgia, as a paroled prisoner of war to find that the land throughout Paulding County had been laid to waste by the Union and Confederate armies and that his family had been impoverished by the war. He endured the hardships of Reconstruction in Northern Georgia but was determined to prosper, and he did, becoming a successful merchant farmer and a leading citizen of Dallas who was favorably known throughout Paulding and surrounding counties.

Vincent's rival, Kushner, the materialistic and greedy director of a pharmaceutical company, kidnaps Lucas in a desperate attempt to find the components of the vaccine and produce it. Vincent and Dorothy at once accuse Kushner of the kidnapping because of the rivalry that exists between them. Unfortunately for them, the kidnapping was executed in such a cunning way that they cannot prove their suspicions to the police. On the contrary, the police suspects Vincent of experimenting with the vaccine and causing Lucas's death. It falls upon Vincent's and Dorothy's shoulders to prove their innocence, and to find Lucas before Kushner kills him after he is done with his experiments. As they try to channel through a labyrinth of planted evidence, Vincent and Dorothy come across, among other things, a fake death certificate and Lucas's lookalike dead body. The plot is teeming with twists and turns, a gripping series of events and an emotional outpouring of grief and courage from a mother who struggles against a well-organized criminal conspiracy to save her son. The undertaking gives Vincent and Dorothy an opportunity to articulate their true feelings toward each other, which lay dormant in their hearts since her husband's untimely death.

The Bible already tells us what is going to happen in the last days before his imminent return; a group called the Evening Time Laborers are going to stand against the powers of hell and share the gospel to a lost world, but they are running out of time. They are going to labor in the evening time while the anti-Christ is starting to expose himself and is trying to take his seat as a one world leader for seven years; this new leader is no other but Hitler resurrected. The End Time Laborers are faced with reaching the world before the anti-Christ; this fiction novel is filled with action, romance, and excitement; and these are some of the things people will experience as we draw closer to the end time. The Bible has several scriptures about prophecy that the world will face in the near future; even Jesus warns in the book of Matthew chapter 24 that natural disasters would happen before he comes to take his church. Mother Nature will go off course for no apparent reason and many signs and wonders will start to appear as a sign to warn people of his soon return. Many bible scholars and ministers have different interpretations about the rapture; some believe the rapture will come before the Great Tribulation and others believe the rapture will come in the middle of the tribulation while others believe the rapture will come at the end of the Great tribulation. You have to research on your own and make your own decision when Jesus will return for his church; I am not going to give my opinion on which one is right, but one thing is certain. Jesus is going to return for his church and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. In-addition, the Great Tribulation will last seven years and during this time; the Anti-Christ will reign as a King of the whole entire world, and he will try to get everybody to worship him as God, and receive his mark that is 666. If the rapture happens in the middle or end of the tribulation; many Christians will suffer and be executed without mercy according to the book of Revelation. This dramatized noel will reveal the importance of laboring before darkness takes over because trying to work for Christ during the Tribulation will be almost impossible.
