The dead man was dressed as Othello. He was lying on the bed in Room 4 of the Wing on The Park with his face smashed to an unrecognizable pulp. Neville Blewitt, proud owner of the Melbury Park Hotel and its adjacent wing had organized an extravagant Tudor Banquet, intending to provide cultured guests with the perfect opportunity to celebrate the birth of William Shakespeare. Blewitt had no way of knowing that it would also provide someone with the perfect opportunity for murder. Most of the guests on that fatal evening were dressed as Shakespeare characters. But the most baffling aspect for DCI Harry Montague and DC Gavin Jones was that only one person in the new wing had registered under a genuine name and address. And before they had even begun to get to the bottom of it, yet another corpse was discovered. It would take some inspired teamwork by the police and the hotel staff, before the case reached its final, shocking conclusion.
