We see love everywhere. It binds husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and sisters, and close friends. But all the love we experience in this world pales by comparison to the love God has shown to us. This was a love so profound that He “gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish” (John 3:16). In Experiencing the Love of God, you will look at key passages in Scripture that talk about the divine love that God has for you. You will see how the Bible is really a love story, for God—your Hero—was so determined to be with you that He went to incredible lengths to save you. One day, He will return for you and take you to the home He has prepared! God’s love is truly unparalleled, and all He asks is that you receive it! The Women of Faith® Bible Studies provide intriguing insights into topics that are relevant to women’s lives today. Each guide includes twelve weeks of study, down-to-earth illustrations, and reflections to help you move the truth from your head to your heart. A leader’s guide for use with small groups is also included.
Waiting requires time, and sometimes we don't know just how much time we'll have. Sometimes the time needed does not correspond with the time given. In our waiting for the Lord, time may exceed the endurance of our existence, but when we as humans exit this earth, our time stops only in the natural realm. Our spiritual time is eternal, and it keeps going! What we do with our wait time, determines where we will spend our eternal time. The eternal time is eternal life with God, which is the gift of God through Jesus Christ. On the contrary side of eternal life, is eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire, with Satan. "While We Are Waiting," is a passionate witness for some and a reminder for others that we are quickly approaching judgment day, when we all will be judged. Who will judge us? Jesus Christ, Himself. Who can avoid this process? Not one human being. We will all be held accountable for what we have done during this period of waiting. Knowing this, can we say we know how to wait? The most important part of waiting for the Lord is not the waiting itself, but how we wait will be the key factor in our eternal fate. Today, We have God's mercy (another chance to get it right)- but on that final day, we will be judged on the basis of our lives, and on the content of our characters and our works. So, I ask, how will you wait?

“The LORD your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17 (NKJV) Are our emotions an enemy to be defeated, or a gift to be enjoyed? Every one of us has been there—torn between conflicting emotions, crushed by grief, or totally overcome with joy. One moment we can be completely happy and the next we can be confused and sad. Are these emotions and feelings something we need to overcome, ignore, or just accept? Wouldn’t life be easier without all the tumultuous feelings we experience? Throughout Scripture, we see God display many emotions—joy, anger, jealousy, grief. Could it be that we’re emotional beings because we have been made in the image of an emotional God? Through this study, you will explore twelve Bible passages and characters that expressed raw emotion. You will feel more empowered to handle negative emotions in a healthy way, and you will have a deeper appreciation for emotions in general. You will have confidence that your emotions are not only good, but godly. Features: Twelve weeks of Bible study Questions for discussion Leader’s Guide included for leading your small group study

The Lord said to Abraham, leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you. I will make your name great and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you and whoever curses you I will curse, and all the people of the earth will be blessed through you." -Genesis 12:1-3 You know God told Abraham to walk away from his limitations, from living a simple, average, mediocre life into a life of greatness. This is what this book is all about. It can help transform everyday, regular people into greatness. The time of living without purpose is over. In this book, you will discover: What greatness is not. True meaning of greatness. Secrets to living a great life. How an ordinary life can be turned into a wellspring of life. How to get rid of what limits you. How God can use you to be a blessing to generations. And how to swim in the goodness of God and truly enjoy the great life He had in mind for you. As you obey God's Word in this book, this is His promise to you: I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing!
The Word of God expressly says, "Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, 'If you abide in my word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free'" (John 8:31-32). These words show that many believe Jesus, even those today who do not yet know the truth, and this lack of the knowledge of the truth keeps them bound. As a child of God, you have the right to be set free from every bondage. But such freedom only comes with the knowledge of the truth-not any truth, but the truth that sets free. What is this truth that has the power to set free? What are the chains with which children of God may be bound without even knowing? This book does not only uncover for you those chains with which you may be bound, it also lets you know the truth that sets you free. You will discover in this book such depths into the Word of God as you have never known before.
According to Prosperos philosophy in "The Tempest", human life is a wakeful dreaming between two periods of endless sleep. During our history, dreams were thought to be of divine origin, messages from the gods andgoddesses, deities of allreligionswere embraced. Dream interpretationswere perceived as warnings orpropheciessent for the dreamers guidance. In Eternal Romance, author Faith Aleksandar presents a shocking, sad, happy tale of dreams that come true. His book combines helpful advice column and haunting love poems that stir readers imagination about a person who had gone through a lot in life and in love while at the same time sees everything in his dream. It tells the story of a boy who is gifted with extrasensory perception while going through a difficult phase in life from his school days until his adulthood. He got his gift since 13 years old and started to have dreams about seeing heartbreaks before it actually happens.

Through building a relationship with Jesus, she went from being a victim to a survivor and finally to an overcomer. In this book Faith shares her life story and the steps she took to achieve victory over negative, self-destructive thinking.

Find the peace and hope that awaits you once you overcome your fears. During times of uncertainty, people are looking for answers to their fears as they see things like finances, relationships, and hope crumble around them. But God doesn't intend for His people to live in fear. He wants us to overcome fear and find peace, even in the midst of the aftermath. Previous study guides on similar topics have helped women learn how to overcome their fears, but none have answered the most important next question: "Now what?" Where do women go once they've left fear behind? What's the next step? Finding Peace Beyond Your Fears will help women find the peace and hope that God has planned for them.
It started with a Tootsie Roll. The day then-18-year-old Faith Hakesley was to testify in court against the well-liked Catholic priest who had raped her, a court guard pressed a Tootsie Roll into her hand. It was the first glimmer. The little piece of candy reminded her of the Scripture about "faith the size of a mustard seed," and this bit of encouragement, by way of the guard, but really from God, gave her the courage she needed to endure the trial. In Glimmers of Grace: Moments of Peace and Healing Following Sexual Abuse, Faith shares what she has learned about the gifts God wants to give victims throughout their journey of healing. Practical, personal, and versatile, Glimmers of Grace accompanies readers step by step from acceptance to true freedom. In each reflection, you'll explore the healing gifts God offers, including: Hope Kindness Perseverance Self-compassion Joy Each reflection includes a gratitude prompt, positive affirmation, achievable to-dos, and journaling questions to help you embrace each gift. Like Faith, you can learn, slowly but surely, to see where and how God is speaking to you and find hope and healing after sexual abuse. Glimmers of Grace can also help spouses, friends, loved ones, or anyone who works with abuse victims gain perspective and understanding. ABOUT THE AUTHOR Faith Hakesley is a wife, homeschooling mother of three, and blogger. In 2008, she was one of five victims of clerical abuse to meet privately with Pope Benedict XVI during his trip to Washington, D.C. She is passionate about sharing her personal story of healing in order to offer hope, healing, and peace to those who are suffering. Visit her website www.faithhakesley.com for more information.
Ben F. Eidse is Shakambangu, a messenger who announces the truth, so-named by the Lunda-Chokwe who appreciate his commitment to learning their heart language, proverbs and culture. He often began his messages with a Chokwe proverb about the kambangu bird who doesn’t speak empty words like the prairie chicken, but announces the first sliver of the moon. He was also called “Tata,” a wise elder and “blacksmith who equipped us, not with guns, but with the Word of God,” which he translated, with two Chokwe pastors/storytellers. Eidse is among the rare western students of Lunda-Chokwe language and culture, which spreads over nine countries of central and southern Africa. His unique and original research captures Lunda-Chokwe oral history in print, tracing that blended tribe’s origin stories and cultural values. The Disciple and Sorcery is his career study of Lunda-Chokwe worldviews, including family and clan values, sorcery practices and experiences of Biblical discipleship. His research hypothesis is that a culturally relevant biblical discipleship can deal effectively with the fear of sorcery and the temptation to use it to harm others. This book will particularly appeal to the Lunda-Chokwe people, as well as to anyone who treasures respectful insight into a traditional society.
How do you raise your kids to be feminist, anti-racist, gender-inclusive, self-compassionate, and with strong respect for boundaries and consent in a society that offers mixed messages on all these things—especially when none of this was part of your own upbringing? How can you prepare the next generation to find joy and stability and also cope with economic instability, police brutality, political polarization, militant nationalism, and environmental disaster? Parents and therapists Dr. Faith Harper and Bonnie Scott have written a parenting guide for the 21st century. Drawing from their own experiences raising diverse, politically-active young people, this book will help you raise a new generation of civil rights leaders and activists who will change the world for the better—all while maintaining your own separate identity and relationships, and without losing your mind.
Help for those struggling with perfectionism and guilt in their Christian walk. Many Christians, often without even realizing it, struggle with a type of Christian perfectionism. We strive to please God but are plagued with anxiety about making mistakes. We want to do God’s will but live with a self-berating inner voice even as we seek to serve him. We sincerely believe the gospel and love Jesus but struggle with never feeling good enough before God. How can Christians wholeheartedly pursue God without an undercurrent of guilt, fear, or anxiety? How can imperfect people experience God's peace while seeking to obey his perfect standards? Author Faith Chang addresses the struggles of her fellow "Christian perfectionists" through meditations on God’s character. With nuance and care, she writes for those who seek to grow in Christ and live for God’s glory yet live in fear of failure. She explores the Bible to show that as God deals with us as in-process people, he is far more merciful, righteous, and patient than we may have imagined. As we consider how he interacts bountifully with us, the weary and scrupulous Christian perfectionist will be freed to pursue God while experiencing his love and peace. There are prayers between each chapter for specific situations Christian perfectionists face, such as “A Prayer for When You Feel You’re a Fake.” Reflection questions are included for those reading the book in small groups or one on one.

This is a true story of a woman who overcame depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and codependency with the help of God. Her journey started the day she decided she would take her own life. She encountered real-life struggles that included a bitter divorce with a narcissist and the loss of everything she had ever known, including herself. With God's love, grace and mercy, He brought her out of darkness, then saved and healed her. With the power of the Trinity, she started a new life, found herself, God's calling and purpose. She was given a story, and the Lord asked her to share it.
Our beautiful world is filled with many types of families. Healthy, loving relationships formed between everyone are almost impossible. My Brother's Sister is a genuine example of how blissful it can be to love like a child, even in a blended family. Let these children display a healthy bond through their story and perhaps teach others to Choose to LOVE with your whole heart. Some of the topics that are mentioned in this book include homeschooling, volunteering, dyslexia, and God. While each of these may not be relatable to your family, we hope that you find joy within the story of the siblings. There are now an estimated two million homeschool students in the United States. Volunteering reminds us that having a heart for giving is essential. Recent statistics say that between 15–20 percent of the world's population is on the dyslexic spectrum. God is prevalent in this story, but no matter your beliefs, the love of family is prominent.
