?Love Is Justice? by Eric Robert Morse is a long essay dedicated to revealing useful truths about love. It is divided into six sections by light-hearted quotes from children that give the reader a taste of the more complex material in each segment. The first part introduces the topic, reviewing our culture?s various notions of love and suggesting one more: justice. Morse uses the second section to show how this new conception can explain the several different types of love we see throughout the world. Here, he also proves how the new conception can elevate and progress mankind as a whole. But, as explained in the third section, it is not easy to find this ?true justification?. Morse discusses the difficulties in doing so and proceeds to examine an alternative in ?false justification? that we humans have discovered and employed in most of our modern relationships. The fourth section illustrates how the alternative is harmful and leads participants downward. In the fifth section, Morse makes it clear that this downward motion is not limited to only the most extreme cases, but all cases of false justification because this artificial love is based in the physical, which, as the theorist explains, is a condition unfavorable to relationships of all kinds. To attain true love, two must elevate their aims beyond the physical. The final section gives us examples of how this can be done and uses the new conception to confirm long standing ideas about love such as Platonic Love, ?love at first sight?, and ?soul mates?. Few attempts at grasping love have been as thorough and practical as Morse?s. ?Love Is Justice? has been praised as an elegant proof of a truly beautiful idea and aims to found a new standard for interpersonal relationships, romantic or otherwise.
Eric Todd experienced a life-changing phenomenon of life after death at the moment of his mother’s passing. He intuited a Oneness wrapped in indescribable Love and Peace, or an “InfiUnity” with God. Todd is also a “recovering” Evangelical calling to repeal and replace “Churchianity.” Baptized in a history of racism, partisan politics, and religious nationalism, he makes the case that it is a dangerous cult, co-opting the name of Christ. He believes that the teachings of Jesus, unfiltered by centuries of constrictive voices, are revolutionary to hearers today. As such, Todd declares a mandate, saying, “It’s time to know deeper, not more,” and has found freedom in the “unknowing” mysteries of God. In The Fullness of Love, Todd draws from the ancient faith’s wealth of orthodoxy, distilling difficult and nuanced biblical passages to transform the message and practice for the twenty-first century.
The word "love" may have become a cliche, but in Life is for Loving, Eric Butterworth maintains that love is vital, cosmic energy flowing through us all. Life is not for existing or "making do," but for loving, and Butterworth shows us how we are to find love in all aspects of life—marriage, sexuality, work, spirituality, and more. Making use of personal experiences, the insights of philosophers and poets, and the cumulative wisdom of the ages, Butterworth convinces us that love is the key to life, and that life—all of it—is for loving.

The Prudence of Love: How Possessing the Virtue of Love Benefits the Lover focuses upon the intersection of philosophical, theological, and psychological issues concerning love. Eric J. Silverman advocates an account of the virtue of love derived from Thomas Aquinas's account of charity and makes three claims concerning love's effect on a person's happiness. First, he argues that there are at least five distinct ways that possessing the virtue of love contributes to the lover's happiness. Surprisingly, only one of these benefits is primarily relational, while the other benefits are largely psycological. Second, Silverman argues that the combination of love's benefits typically increases the lover's overall level of happiness. Finally, he argues than possessing a loving disposition is a more reliable strategy for increasing one's overall happiness than possessing an unloving disposition. Throughout The Prudence of Love, Silverman demonstrates that love's benefits are identifiable according to all four major views of happiness. Book jacket.

The biological underpinnings of feelings are explored, including the interaction of brain, nervous system, hormones, and body chemistry. Love is considered as an evolutionary phenomenon with origins in animal behavior. According to Shakespeare, The course of true love never did run smooth, and The Brain and Love indeed looks at love as a give-and-take process involving costs and benefits.
