Superstitions… It's a barren place, the Arizona desert. Where the only thing that seems to grow there are a few Palo Verde trees and some cactus. Where the temperature climbs well above the hundred degree mark, in the summer time and drops down to near freezing conditions in the winter. It's a barren land for sure. But, this their land. This Apache land. The home of the most fierce tribe of Indians that ever rode astride. The Apaches were fierce adversaries, that captured and tortured anyone and everyone, who dared to trespass on their land, uninvited. This is also where you'll find the Superstition Mountains, or as the Apaches call it, 'Iron Mountain.' They gave it that name because nothing seems to grow there. But, the mountain holds many more secrets then you might think. For one, it's the suspected location of the infamous Lost Dutchman Gold Mind. But, it is also the home of the Apache Thunder God as well. And for those that come here in search of gold and riches, many of them will never be heard from again. Especially if they make the deadly mistake of waking up the Apache Thunder God. The Apaches were known for their very creative ways of killing those that ventured onto their land. Either on purpose or by accident. It didn't matter. Men, women and even children would die at the hands of the Apaches. Cause in the eyes of the Apaches, little white eyes, will grow up to be big white eyes. So all of them had to die. So yes, this is a very barren land in deed. For those that are foolish enough to venture out here, the Apaches have but one question for you. How well will you Die… at the hands of the Apaches! But, for an unsuspecting group of college students who ventured out into this forbidden land, all hell is about to break loose. Having the misfortune of waking up the Apache Thunder God , by taking what appears to be nothing more then two innocent pieces of gold, one thing is for certain. All of them will surely die. How well they die, is yet to be seen. There is no escape. Not for any of them.

THE DUGAN CHRONICLES L.A. HOMICIDE...AT IT'S WORST! Every city has a heartbeat. That heartbeat, is the resounding rhythm of the inner circle of life, of the people that call that city their home. Day in, day out, life goes on. One heartbeat at a time. It's the strength of that heartbeat that determines the strength of the city. It's the beating, the pounding of that heartbeat that keeps that city alive. Some time that city is strong and vibrant. Other times, it isn't. In the natural course of life, some heartbeats fade away naturally. Other times it's not so natural. When that happens, Matt and his crew go to work. It's their job, as Homicide detectives, to solve the puzzle of each fading heartbeat. Their city, the city of Los Angeles or the City of Angels, as it's commonly called, has a very fluctuating heartbeat. It's the job of the Los Angeles Police Department, to police the city of over 3.8 million people, in a city the stretches out for over 470 square miles. And considering there's only ten-thousand men and women that make up the entire force of the L.A.P.D., you quickly realize that the police are out numbered and usually out gunned. But, they stand their ground. They stand it, because it's what the people of their city deserve. To expect or accept anything less, is not acceptable. Being a cop in the City of Angels, is not for everyone. It takes a special breed of dedication, pride and honor to wear the badge of the L.A.P.D. And Matt and his crew ... are that type of people. And the heartbeat goes on... for now! THE DUGAN CHRONICLES L.A. HOMICIDE AT IT'S WORST!
