Chronicles of a village boy in New Delhi is a first person account of the transition that most youth are experiencing today: from one age to another, one place to another and one value system to another. The book elucidates what factors influence that process and unleash the potential in individuals (even those without a godfather!), with thoughts that inspire and direct destinies. Written in an unconventional style, the book has insights for the youth of today to understand their elders and be sensitive to generational transition without succumbing to gene factors and not falling prey to the lures of the emerging times. The chronicles subtly hint at the dilemma of today in public space, points at contradictions and suggests introspection for proactive initiatives. The book profiles ten different important public movements in the country with concern and perspective. The author being a pioneer in applied social research, the book is a treasure for social analysts.

Social exclusion has several dimensions. It exists in various spheres and in many forms. Race and caste have however dominated the discourse on social exclusion. In its simplest understanding, social exclusion is lack of access to resources and consequent inability to utilize them. It is further accentuated by denial of opportunities which enhance access to resources and their utilization. It can, therefore be experienced by anyone who is in a position which is vulnerable to such impeding conditions. Thus, besides caste and race, religion, age, gender, social position and occupational hierarchy-are all potentially volatile to social exclusion. Stratification of human populations occurs at various levels and in many forms. It has a reflection of power dynamics which exist between people and also between population groups. This drives some caste and religious groups to be more advantaged as against others, The young and the elderly population are likely to be less equipped as compared to the adults in the sphere of work. The elders may be the dominating persons within the household;
This book discusses the Advances in Agriculture to Doubling Farmers Income: The changing cropping pattern, monoculture, intensive cultivation of high yielding varieties, negligence of crop rotation, non adoption of summer ploughing, and other cultural practices have aggravated pest problems; thus, their management has become difficult. Biodiversity is defined as the variability among living organisms. The main key to biodiversity on earth is due to evolution. The structural and functional diversity and any cell represent its evolutionary event which occurred through the Darwin theory of Natural selection. Natural selection and survival of fittest theory is involved in the microbes. This includes diversity within species, between species and of ecosystems.Microbes are part of our lives in more ways than most understand. They have shaped the present environment, and their activities will significantly influence our future. Microbes are present in both natural and human-made worlds. Every microbe has individual qualities which enable it to survive in unique places as the soil, oceans, rivers, ice, water, pipes, concrete, hot springs, the human intestine, root of plants and oil wells. Microbes are spread over the entire biosphere, hydrosphere and the atmosphere.

Curriculum - one of the four essential components of physical education - is the written, clearly articulated plan for how standards and education outcomes will be attained. School districts and schools should have a written physical education curriculum for grades K-12 that is sequential and comprehensive. It should be based on national and/or state standards and grade-level outcomes for physical education, and should include learning objectives for students as well as units and lessons for teachers to implement. The physical education curriculum should mirror other school district and school curricula in its design and schedule for periodic review/update. Overall, the physical education curriculum serves the purpose of standardizing the curriculum in a school district across schools and ensuring equitable education for all students. It also results in improved teacher quality and increased consistency in instruction.

Education is one of the most authentic tool for socio-economic mobility and a key instrument for building an equitable, just and human society. It aims at developing enviable character image in the student rather than imposing a quantum of knowledge. Being an integrative force in society, education can impart values, provide skills and competencies to students, and foster social cohesion and national identity. The task of education is to inculcate desirable psychological and affective qualities among students along with cognitive advancement. By considering these aspects, the investigator judiciously develops two value based strategies namely UNIQUE Strategy and BAND Strategy based on the existing pedagogical strands to ensure effective value education at higher secondary level.
Prof. CNR Rao is a living legend. Einstein paid a compliment to Mahatma Gandhi on his 70th birthday. He said, “Generations to come, it may well be, will scarce believe that such a man as this one ever in flesh and blood walked upon this earth”. On Prof. Rao’s birthday, I would repeat these words. Prof. Rao is not an individual, he is an institution, he is a phenomenon. I feel lucky that our generations could see him, touch him, feel him, experience him, learn from him and get inspired by him. I have watched Prof. Rao as a scientist, as a science leader, as a science institution builder and indeed as a leader of leaders of science. I have also watched him as a wonderful, warm-hearted human being with abundant empathy. I have seen his childlike enthusiasm. I have watched him as `courage personified’. What follows is more anecdotal but solely based on my personal viewpoint. Professor Rao has had a tremendous influence on my life. He has been my guru, guide, friend and philosopher. I met him for the first time when he was the Chairman of the Research Advisory Council of the National Chemical Laboratory (NCL) in the nineteen eighties. I was then in my late thirties. Professor Rao has an uncanny ability to spot talent among the young. He was the President of the Indian Science Congress in the year 1988, which was held in Pune University. Mr. Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister and he inaugurated the Science Congress. Later on, during the lunch that followed, Prof. Rao made a special point to introduce me to Rajiv Gandhi. I still remember his words. He said, `Mr. Prime Minister, meet a rising young star of Indian science’. Little did I then know that within the next couple of months, he would make me a member of the Science Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, which he was chairing. At 42, I was the youngest member and I remember people calling me the `baby’ of the team. Getting that huge exposure at such a young age was something very special for me – I got a helicopter view of India at large. It helped me enormously as I moved on in life. 'Padma Vibhushan' Dr. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar
Education seeks to provide the intellectual enlightenment and the spiritual emancipation in the search for a better existence for all life on earth. Teacher education must target skills for the 21st Century and beyond them to address the needs of a knowledge society. These days teacher's education system is facing problem of inaptness and irrelevance. There is a visible gap between how students live and how they learn. Schools and colleges have struggled to keep the pace with the rate of change in students' lives inside and outside the educational institution.Innovative educational practices support the development of new capabilities and surfacing stumbling blocks on the road to innovation implementation. The implementation of learning that promotes the development of general capabilities and deep learning approaches in students is at the centre of the paradigmatic changes.
Street Children are the casualties of economic growth, war, poverty, loss of traditional values, domestic violence, physical and mental abuse. Every Street Child has a reason for being on the streets. While some children are lured by the promise of excitement and freedom, majority are pushed onto the street by desperation and realization that they have nowhere else to go. In many countries Street Children are named after their main survival activities. What is obvious is that Street Children are poverty stricken and their needs and problems are a result of wanting to meet basic needs for survival. They go through the struggle of providing themselves with basic things such as food, shelter, heath and clothing. Providing targeted interventions that meet the needs of Street Children requires an understanding of who they are, what they need, what they do and how they can be identified. School is the temple of learning. It is a unique institution that plays a dominant role in the life of individuals. Particularly, primary education occupies an important position because it is here that the process of formal learning begins. It lays a sound foundation for a knowledge-based economy in years to come. Primary education is important because it moulds the personalities of our children to lead a better life. It tries to shape the behavior of younger generations. Therefore, primary school is an important institution of our society. There are two levels of primary schools. One is called as lower primary schools (LPS) and the other one is called as higher primary schools (HPS). In LPS, education is imparted from first to fifth standard. In HPS, education is imparted from sixth to eighth standard.
At the outset, the author of the book welcomes his supervisor Prof. Prof (Dr.) G. S. Roy who has joined me as coauthors of this text, a credit which would have been given earlier to them as they were helping in a latent way in the evolution of the book for the past five years. Five years have elapsed on the intellectual journey of writing a PhD thesis e-book in title “Hall Effect on the Magnetohydrodynamic Flow of Some Newtonian and Non-Newtonian Conducting Fluids” in subject of physics. As Magnetohydrodynamic Flow is growing at a dazzling pace, this edition has been demanding in a different way. In this 1st edition, the book has been thoroughly described, enlarged and updated with Magnetohydrodynamic Flow. Gratitude is expressed to the students and teachers, both from India and abroad, who have sent in their valuable suggestions which have been given due consideration. We are sincerely thankful to our publisher, Newredmars Education. We are also deeply indebted to my guide Prof. Dr. G. S. Roy for his sustained support of this endeavour from its inception; his wisdom has made all the difference. Healthy criticism and suggestions for further improvement of the book are solicited.

IOTA is a novel cryptocurrency that uses distributed ledger technology based on directed acyclic graph data structure. Security of cryptocurrencies ought to be scrutinized in order to acquire esteemed security, attain trust, and accomplish indelible adoption. Although IOTA prefers resilient security controls, IOTA security is not yet well explored. Among all the propounded IOTA vulnerabilities that have been identified, we pragmatically exploit replay attack against IOTA. It further analyze the attack to perceive its impact. Attack methodology and proof of concept for the replay attack is presented. Our proposed exploitation methodology is based upon address reuse, while IOTA in default mode does not reuse addresses. Distrust and privation of balance can be some of the severe impacts of this vulnerability. This system introduces the Crypto Terminal, a new open device for securing blockchain wallets.
1.0 INTRODUCTION Historically, teachers played a vital role in shaping the destiny of society and promoting the causes of peace in different classes. In ancient India, 'Teacher' or 'Guru' was called a spiritual leader and was looked upon as an ideal in the society. He was the leader of the society and even a 'King' came to him for guidance. The teacher should be a sheet anchor to society amidst the tumult of social change. 'Being a teacher', he is to be a change agent transforming ideas into ideals and ideals into institutions which may spread the light of knowledge and wisdom into eternity. It is the teacher who helps to transform an individual into a person of imagination, wisdom, human-love and enlightenment; the institutions into lamp-posts for posterity; and the country into a learning society. It is fortunate for us to have been born in a country of great teachers like Mahaveer, Buddha, Shankara, Ramanuja and Mahatma Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the father of Indian nation.
Education has been considered in all times to be an instrument of social change. This objective cannot be attained without having improved the class room practices. Education is the learning of knowledge, information and skills during the course of life. Teachers may draw on many subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science and history. Teachers in specialized professions such as astrophysics, law, or Zoology may teach only a certain subject, usually as professors at institutions of higher learning.
