Movement variability in soccer training is the new approach to enhancing practice and developing players' movement adaptabilities and creative play on the field. Movement Variability in Soccer Training bridges the gap between theory and practice. In the first section of the book, you are given the background theory and scientific evidence supporting movement variability. This section covers the short- and mid-term effects of adopting movement variability training as it relates to players' technical, tactical, and creative development. In the following section, you are given 100 training drills—practical examples for implementing variability during training based on that session's goals, such as individual, group, or team development. Finally, with this book, you learn how to incorporate periodization training during each training microcycle. By addressing all aspects of performance, this book is an essential reference for every soccer trainer, coach, or player!
Beyond the immeasurable political and economic changes it brought, colonial expansion exerted a powerful effect on Portuguese culture. And as this book demonstrates, the imperial culture that emerged over the course of four centuries was hardly a homogeneous whole, as triumphalist literature and other cultural forms mingled with recurrent doubts about the expansionist project. In a series of illuminating case studies, Ramada Curto follows the history and perception of major colonial initiatives while integrating the complex perspectives of participating agents to show how the empire’s life and culture were richly inflected by the operations of imperial expansion.

La 4e de couverture indique : "During the second half of the twentieth century there was a broad expansion and development of legal aid mechanisms, especially in the main industrialized democracies of the western world. Amongst all of these examples, one notes the legal aid scheme established in England & Wales, that attained its peak at the end of the 70's and the beginning of the 80's of the last century. However, beginning in the 90's and in the first two decades of the 21st century, in the majority of countries that had otherwise possessed legal aid systems thought to be "advanced", the scenario has been one of regression and a cutting of the provision of services, with severe restrictions in terms of funding and support. In contrast to these scenarios, some underdeveloped and developing nations, such as in the case of Brazil, are experiencing a continuous process of expansion and consolidation of legal aid services subsidized by the state. Specifically in the Brazilian case, beyond the quantitative growth, one also sees a process of instituting a very particular model, in certain respects sui generis, of public service legal aid through a public defender system. It is a model that is also being consolidated in various other countries in Latin America, and which has awoken interest in the academic world. In this study a brief analysis on the Brazilian legal aid will be made, analyzing its virtues and deficiencies.
