Our society has a difficult time placing man in a satisfactory role that would complement the Madison Avenue advertising group or the image-makers of Hollywood. They have decided the roles of leader, head of household, faithful husband and father, and moral compass don't seem to fit anymore. This thinking is totally unacceptable and should raise flags of discontent in every Christian household. As a group in today's world, men need to take back the responsibilities that they have either given away or have had stolen from them, and collectively become the men that Jesus spoke about in his word. There is no excuse for behavior that is not pleasing to God and therefore not profitable to any man. Do not let your earthly condition dictate your spiritual position.

In Reinterpreting Criminal Complicity and Inchoate Participation Offences, Dennis J. Baker argues that the mental element in complicity is one of intention, that recklessness alone is not sufficient. This is demonstrated by showing that the ancient and modern authorities on complicity required intention. The book argues the ‘causal participation’ element in complicity means that the conduct element can only be established when there is intentional encouragement on the part of the accessory. As the Accessories and Abettors Act 1861, like most of the statutory provisions found in the United States, deems that both perpetrator and accessory are perpetrators for the purpose of punishment and crime labelling, limiting the mental element in complicity to intentional participation is, the author argues, the only way to reconcile these provisions with the requirements of proportionate punishment and fair labelling. As some forms of reckless encouragement and assistance will not be criminalised if the mental element in complicity is intention only, the author suggests that the solution is to amend section 45 of the Serious Crime Act 2007 to criminalise reckless participation. In addition, the author argues that standard complicity and joint enterprise complicity have the same mental and conduct elements and thus joint enterprise complicity is not a distinct form of complicity.

Most philosophers still like to feel that they have a special subject matter, well insulated from anything that the social scientists, and scientists in general, have to tell them. That is not healthy for philosophy; and it is all too likely to lead to an ethics that continues, as of old, to plead for its ultimates-the fact that one is totally ineffectual being decently concealed by an impressive terminology. (Stevenson 1963, pp. 114–5) Many so-called moral theories do not even attempt to explain or justify common morality but are used to generate guides to conduct intended to replace common morality. These p- posed moral guides, those generated by all of the standard consequentialist, contractarian, and deontological theories, are far simpler than the common moral system and sometimes yield totally unacceptable answers to moral problems. Since these philosophers who put forward these theories have usually dismissed common morality as confused, they are c- pletely unaware of the complexity involved in making moral decisions and judgments. It is not surprising that many who take morality seriously and try to apply it to real problems faced by actual people are so critical of moral theory. (Bernard Gert 1998, p. 6) As both Stevenson and Gert note, ethics requires social and other sciences for by its very nature, ethics is a practical enterprise.

That is our eternal fate under God’s Law. God does not want to do this, but His Law forces Him to find us guilty and sentence us to suffer for all eternity. How can God avoid the demands of the Law, fulfill the letter of the Law, keep the Law intact, and still deal with us in love, grace, and compassion? God is able to use a little-known clause in His Law to offer a solution to this problem. It is a plea bargain agreement to satisfy the Law and still save us. To this end, He wrote the Bible, a legally binding contract, to offer an escape.
