This is the collection of Chen Deming (pen name Chen Rolei)'s traveling articles that he wrote when he traveled around the world as a translator for the agency he worked. As a translator, he has opportunities to see what we do not have chance to see in the early 80's of last century. Not a few articles in his collection of works are initially seen from his blog. They are written by the author for his friends & his “fans” to read. He writes very sincerely and in a very relaxed state, too. People often say “The writing mirrors the writer”. By reading Ruolei’s collection of works, we as if see Chen Ruolei himself; we seemly follow his footsteps walking around the world. We would feel his ardent love for all good things in the world, feel his sincerity, feel his historical romanticism, feel his sagacity and wide range of studies, and of course feel his wit and humor.
