While exploring some catacombs said to be the resting place of an old God, Fenryn meets and befriends a female Enerawyn (or elf to humans) named Lynnette, and together they find out the reason for the undead appearing. Once they leave the catacombs, they are surrounded by bandits! Chaos ensues when they believe Fenryn would make for a handsome ransom. Fortunately for Fenryn, his luck seems to hold out. However, what happens when the Knight Captain shows up? Then wishes to conscript Lynnette into his Knighthood? How will she handle the other Knights? And what of the bigoted nobility? Can she truly change the minds of humans, when it comes to her people? Involves characters within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.
