Quality 4.0 can be applied across diverse sectors such as manufacturing, and service industries. In manufacturing, for instance, Quality 4.0 solutions enable real-time monitoring of production processes, defect detection, and efficiency enhancement. This entails utilising sensors, IoT devices, and data analytics to monitor production data and pinpoint areas ripe for improvement. The aim of this book is to introduce the issues of Quality 4.0 to both academic teachers and students. The book was designed to complement the rich literature in the field of quality management. It can be used as an additional guide or textbook for students. The book consists of four chapters. The book is one of the results of the international project “Improving quality management teaching in the era of Industry 4.0”. The project was co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
