This report summarizes the implementation efforts undertaken when Pres. Clinton asked for: the Council on Sustainable Amer. to begin implementing some of its recommendations; White House offices and Fed. agencies should support the establishment of a Joint Center on Sustainable Communities to implement recommendations in communities across the nation; and the Vice President's effort to implement recommendations with the Admin.
