‘She’ is our first venture into novella writing. Being our first book, we have put in our heart and soul to make this a masterpiece of our own. At first, we decided to pool in our poems and compile it to an anthology but to be a dime in a dozen was not our call. Hence, we came up with something unique - She, a story born with poems as the backbone in a gestation period of six months. The twenty eight random poems were from the different facets of our lives over a span of four years. They served as a depiction of our thoughts and validated our instantaneous emotions. And so it was very challenging to mould them into a single story. We started by organizing them, followed by framing pieces of instances. Little did we know that they would be the threads of the beautifully woven story. A beautiful fusion of different emotions, of different entities, of two different individuals’ lives. The essence of the book is aimed at breaking conventional ideas and stereotypes. She conveys the ideas of destiny, trust and self-healing and also speaks about the major problems faced by teens in the contemporary world. The storyline was set to incept a different perception of failure, because we ardently believe, what you see may not change but how you see could!
How do we resist the false idols of power and influence to seek true connection and community? From one of the most respected thinkers and public intellectuals of our day comes a book that is both a cultural critique of the state of our country and a robust summons to resist complicity. As we move through the world, we constantly weigh our conscience against what David Dark calls "deferential fear"--going along just to get along, especially in relation to our cultural, political, and religious conversations. Dark reveals our compromised reality: the host of hidden structures and tacit social arrangements that draw us away from ourselves and threaten to turn us slowly into what we decry in others. We Become What We Normalize counsels a creative, slow, and artful response to the economy of reaction, hurry, shaming, and fearmongering. Dark offers a deep analysis of the ways our conceptions of ourselves and our use of technology often lead us away from what we believe, reinforcing the false narrative that we must humiliate others in order to survive. "I suspect we become what we sit still for, what we play along with, and what we abide in our attempts to access more perceived power and more alleged influence," Dark writes. We Become What We Normalize calls for a new kind of struggle, ethic, witness, and spirit that helps us step away from the infinite loop of normalizing harm into effecting true change for ourselves and the worlds we inhabit.
This Delomelanicon, which means "Book of Summoning the Darkness" or "Invocation of Darkness" is a book of concealment about embracing the darkness hidden within the subconscious in order to have unconditionally self-acceptance. The verses in this book use Greek and Hebrew mythology as allegories about the chthonic or subconscious primal survival instincts of the mind. It is Kabbalistic as it focuses on the Dark Tree which is the roots of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, usually called by the Right-Hand Path of magic as the Qlippoth or Tree of Death. This is the opposite of the Biblical Book of Revelations which is about ascending from earth to heaven or Crown of Life which is the Crown of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, instead, this Book of Concealment is about descending from earth to hell, which is Kingdom on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life or root chakra in the chakras system in order to understand our animal instincts.
The woodcut engravings of Torchia and Lucifer of the Nine Gates are in this Delomelanicon which are explained through research based upon the teachings of Satanism. This tome will explain each gate and how they connect to the Necronomicon. This tome is the path to the gates as a preparation into walking through each gate into the realm of Shadows. This book works well with The Gates of Hell by Rev. George Sprague of the Church of Satan.
Man of the New Millennium is a book for us: the millions of people who want to see the end of mancruel and the start of mankind and the probably billion or so of us in this world, exasperated and disenchanted by worn-out templates, trying to find new ones. Wrapped in the most gentle of narratives, Man of the New Millennium leads us through the maze of history's travesties and today's duplicities to a future with a future, to a future whose potential is our potential, our potential as a species, and that potential special to all of us individually. Man of the New Millennium is a search for us in an age of me; it is a text for humanity in fictional dress; it is a book which changes hope from an ill-defined aspiration to a realisable ambition. It is a book of today which guarantees a quality tomorrow. Man of the New Millennium is the third book of the trilogy which also comprises The Prophet of the New Millennium and God of the New Millennium.
The freedom to question—asking and being asked—is an indispensable and sacred practice that is absolutely vital to the health of our communities.According to author David Dark, when religion won’t tolerate questions, objections, or differences of opinion, and when it only brings to the table threats of excommunication, violence, and hellfire, it does not allow people to discover for themselves what they truly believe. The God of the Bible not only encourages questions; the God of the Bible demands them. If that were not so, we wouldn’t live in a world of such rich, God-given complexity in which wide-eyed wonder is part and parcel of the human condition. Dark contends that it’s OK to question life, the Bible, faith, the media, emotions, language, government—everything. God has nothing to hide. And neither should people of faith. The Sacredness of Questioning offers a wide-ranging, insightful, and often entertaining discussion that draws on a variety of sources, including religious texts and popular culture. It is a book that readers will likely cherish—and recommend—for years to come.

This volume seeks to accommodate some of the more demanding of the developments in academic approaches to international relations. The core themes of the text are: the changes and uncertainties in international relations as the 20th century draws to a close; the "new areas" which have emerged in international relations, including IPE, regionalization, co-operative problem solving and long cycles; and a specific and distinctive annex on internet resources for the study of international relations.
A bundle of books #1 (BEHIND YOU) and #2 (BESIDE YOU) in Rylie Dark’s Hailey Rock FBI Suspense Thriller series! This bundle offers books one and two in one convenient file, with over 100,000 words of reading. Despite being a rising star in the BAU unit, FBI Special Agent Hailey Rock still lives in the shadow of her older sister, who remained in their small Midwestern town to become a police sheriff, and who remains the favorite in their parents’ eyes. Hailey has not thought of her estranged family in ages, but when young women turn up dead in her hometown, the FBI dispatches Hailey to solve the case her sister cannot—and forces her to face demons, including that of her kidnapped sister, that Hailey wished she would never face again. In BEHIND YOU (Book #1), women are turning up dead, posed in local farm fields like scarecrows, and time is running out. A serial killer lurks, and their small town never felt so small. Hailey must reconcile her contentious relationship with her sister to crack the case—but she refuses to make it easy. Can they put aside their differences and work together? Or will old demons bring them all down? In BESIDE YOU (Book #2), a killer is abducting young women in an eerily familiar way. A cat-and-mouse thriller with harrowing twists and turns and filled with heart-pounding suspense, the HAILEY ROCK mystery series offers a fresh twist on the genre as it introduces two brilliant protagonists who will make you fall in love and keep you turning pages late into the night. Future books in the series are now also available.
Mining popular media, Dark redefines the term apocalypse as a more honest, watchful way of being in the world and higlights how the imagination can expose our moral condition.
We can't just be done with religion, argues David Dark. The fact of religion is the fact of us. Religion is the witness of everything we're up to--for better or worse. David Dark is one of today's most respected thinkers, public intellectuals, and cultural critics at the intersection of faith and culture. Since its original release, Dark's Life's Too Short to Pretend You're Not Religious has become essential reading for those engaged in the conversation on religion in contemporary American society. Now, Dark returns to his classic text and offers us a revised, expanded, and reframed edition that reflects a more expansive understanding, employs inclusive language, and tackles the most pressing issues of the day. With the same keen powers of cultural observation, candor, and wit his readers have come to know and love, Dark weaves in current themes around the pandemic and vaccine responses, Black Lives Matter, the #MeToo and #ChurchToo movements, Critical Race Theory, and more. By looking intentionally at our weird religious background (we all have one), he helps us acknowledge the content of our everyday existence--the good, the bad, and the glaringly inconsistent. When we make peace with the idea of being religious, we can more practically envision an undivided life.

Using icons from music, literature, film, and politics, David Dark hopes to provide fodder for lively conversation about what it means to be Christian and American in this day and age. The end result of this conversation, Dark hopes, will be a better understanding that "there is a reality more important, more lasting, and more infinite than the cultures to which we belong," the reality of the kingdom of God.
Published in the years following 9/11, David Darks book The Gospel according to America warned American Christianity about the false worship that conflates love of country with love of God. It delved deeply into the political divide that had gripped the country and the cultural captivity into which so many American churches had fallen. In our current political season, the problems Dark identified have blossomed. The assessment he brought to these problems and the creative resources for resisting them are now more important than ever. Into this new political landscape and expanding on the analysis of The Gospel according to America, Dark offers The Possibility of America: How the Gospel Can Mend Our God-Blessed, God-Forsaken Land. Dark expands his vision of a fractured yet redeemable American Christianity, bringing his signature mix of theological, cultural, and political analysis to white supremacy, evangelical surrender, and other problems of the Trump era.
ONLY MURDER (a Sadie Price FBI Suspense Thriller—Book 1) is the debut novel in a new series by mystery and suspense author Rylie Dark. Special Agent Sadie Price, a 29-year-old rising star in the FBI’s BAU unit, stuns her colleagues by requesting reassignment to the FBI’s remote Alaskan field office. Back in her home state, a place she vowed she would never return, Sadie, running from a secret in her recent past and back into her old one, finds herself facing her demons—including her sister’s unsolved murder—while assigned to hunt down a new serial killer. Two women are found dead in a remote area of Northern Alaska, near Sadie’s hometown, floating under the ice, their bodies preserved, much the same way Sadie’s own murdered sister was found—a memory that still plagues her. The case strikes way too close to home, blurring Sadie’s judgment, stirring up memories of her estranged father and murdered sister, memories she’s not ready to grapple with. This part of Alaska—icy, rough, remote, populated by outcasts—proves impenetrable even for a seasoned FBI agent like Sadie. The killer, matching his landscape, is more sinister and smart than anyone Sadie has encountered. Amidst the perplexing clues, Sadie remains sure of only one thing: he will strike again. Against her wishes, Sadie must team up with Sheriff Logan Cooper—single, begrudging, and with a dark past of his own. Together, they must enter the canals of this killer’s twisted mind and seek help from the locals, however hostile, to solve the pattern of these murders before another girl turns up dead. With a major storm coming, can Sadie solve the murders before it’s too late? Or will she end up as the next body floating under the ice? An action-packed page-turner, the SADIE PRICE series is a riveting crime thriller, jammed with suspense, surprises and twists and turns that you won’t see coming. It will have you fall in love with a brilliant and scarred new character, while challenging you, amidst a barren landscape, to solve an impenetrable crime. Books #2-#6 in the series—ONLY RAGE, ONLY HIS, ONLY ONCE, ONLY SPITE, and ONLY MADNESS—are now also available.

Two parents who, in facing death, face life. Perhaps for the first time. Titus, as well as being a father, is a grandfather. He has been kidnapped by his son in Colombia; Roni is a Glaswegian mother whose son, in twenty-four hours, will be executed by lethal injection. They are two novellas which, whilst they could exist separately, also complement each other. They are stories of doom, but not of gloom; stories, certainly of tragedy, but ingrained with both comedy and optimism. Their two principal characters surrender in order to fight on and traverse despair to find hope. They are two unremarkable people who, in finally accepting death, triumph over life, and become thereby remarkable indeed. Certainly, you will cry with Titus and with Roni, but also you will laugh with them. You will despair with them, and clutch at the same straws. Written with Dark's customary elegance, Titus and Roni is as mellifluous in its telling as it is compulsive in its tale.
The Dark Mountain Project began with a manifesto published in 2009 by two English writers—Dougald Hine and Paul Kingsnorth—who felt that literature was not responding honestly to the crises of our time. In a world in which the climate is being altered by human activities; in which global ecosystems are being destroyed by the advance of industrial civilisation; and in which the dominant economic and cultural assumptions of the West are visibly crumbling, Dark Mountain asked: where are the writers and the artists? Why are the mainstream cultural forms of our society still behaving as if this were the twentieth century—or even the nineteenth? Dark Mountain’s call for writers, thinkers and artists willing to face the depth of the mess we are in has made it a gathering point for a growing international network. Rooted in place, time and nature, their work finds a home in the pages of the Dark Mountain books, with two new volumes published every year. Walking on Lava brings together the best of the first ten volumes, along with the original manifesto. This collection of essays, fiction, poetry, interviews and artwork introduces The Dark Mountain Project’s groundbreaking work to a wider audience in search of ‘the hope beyond hope, the paths which lead to the unknown world ahead of us.’
