After over three decades of pastoral and missionary experience, author and pastor Dr. Cliff Boone is no longer surprised to hear certain questions and concerns: How can I tell if my temptation has a demonic element or is only because of my sinful self? I know that we are told to resist the devil, but how do I do that? How much influence can Satan have over a Christian? Is there a way I can protect myself and my children? Are my weird and frightening dreams because of evil spirits? How do I recognize when I’m being attacked by the evil one? This topic makes me afraid. Why can’t I just ignore it? This book gives the answers to these questions and more. Dr. Boone explains what it means to resist the devil and why it is important to do so. Rather than be afraid and defeated we can be equipped to experience Christ’s victory over the evil one.
Life is full of big questions. Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? Where do the universe, earth, and humans come from? Do humans have free will? What is the meaning of life and death? Do humans and animals have souls and spirits? Where do good and evil come from? Who is Satan? What was his original offense? Why does the devil tempt humans? Why is there pain and suffering? Can the nefarious attitudes in human spirits change for the better? Before the Beginning to Beyond the End clearly presents answers to the above questions based in Scripture. The book seeks to unpack the creation of the world and its implications for mankind through the lens of the Bible. Furthermore, it expounds on the cause for human’s fall, God’s redemption plan, Jesus’s fulfillment of Messianic prophecies, future events in the world, and what will happen to us beyond the end of time.
Fifth-century Christianity was a theological battlefield. With the Messalian heretics and their experientialist spirituality on the one side and the intellectualist school on the other, representatives of both extremes found themselves condemned by the Church. In this milieu of subjectivist notions of grace and negative anthropology, there appeared a true mystic, Diadochus, Bishop of Photike in Epiros. His is a theology whose two poles are God's grace and man's ability to cooperate with it by way of discernment of spirits. Diadochus's ability to salvage what was orthodox from the Messalians and the intellectualists proves that, rather than a reactionary, he was a true theologian capable of synthesis, open to the truth even if found in his adversary, and yet firm in his faith, unwilling to compromise. He is among the earliest witnesses of the Jesus Prayer. Diadochus is the most important spiritual writer of his century, whose influence can be found in the writings of Maximus the Confessor, Simeon the New Theologian, Gregory of Palamas, and the author of The Way of the Pilgrim. This is the first translation of his complete works in English. Cliff Ermatinger is a Chicago native and works as associate pastor of two parishes in that archdiocese. He is the author of several books on Byzantine and Carmelite spirituality as well as one on philosophy. He has written articles for Spanish, English, and German language periodicals. Along with his priestly duties, he coaches rugby, fly fishes, and competes as a bagpiper in Highland Games throughout the U.S.
The New World Order: it's not a conspiracy, it's a direction. Author Cliff Billings brings your biblical worldview into sharp focus. Read along as he systematically identifies the key players of the Apocalypse and nails the satanic lie of global warming in his thrilling book, Last Stand at Megiddo. You will see clearly how God will dismantle Satan's very flawed, end-time strategy for world dominance. You will learn what the Bible says about the Church and Israel and the tragedies that await the uninformed and unconcerned. It's obvious that the world we thought we knew is fast changing. End-time wars, famines, earthquakes, and persecution are now commonplace. We stand uncomfortably close to the edge of global chaos. We can't back up, we can't make it go away, and our 'turn the other cheek' mentality only seems out of context as the saber rattling intensifies. We are the long-awaited eyewitnesses to what Christ predicted would happen. Going forward, Last Stand at Megiddo will take you on a thrilling adventure, from the tower of Babel to the epic Battle of Armageddon. Cliff Billings, ThD, is a pastor and church starter in rural ministry in the northwest. His ministry, along with traditional church, includes Home Church and Cowboy Church. Cliff believes in bi-vocational ministry, and is a licensed contractor, certified farrier, and working cowboy.
Do We Need This Book? My aunt, nearly 90 years old, at the death of her youngest sister tearfully asked the presiding minister "But where is my sister, in the earth or in heaven?” Both she and her sister were raised to be very faithful Christians in the church. This uncertainty only exemplifies the great need for this book. — Kenneth H. Pollard, elder, Thomaston Road church of Christ.

This book is about God’s revelations to me about President Donald J. Trump, the 45th and 47th president of the United States, and about the End-Time events. I have written this book because of what God said to me in November 2016 that keeps reechoing in my ears. On Thursday morning November 3, 2016, the week before the presidential election between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, God said to me; “Cliff, I showed you such a great revelation about America and you did nothing about it? What else will I show you, for you to know that Trump is the president of the United States?” Well, the rest is history, Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States of America in 2016. God did show me something else on August 15, 2020, and I know for certain that President Trump will be the 47th president of the United States come November 2024. This book is insightful and revealing. Get a glimpse of God’s End-Time moves. Most importantly before it all comes to pass; that you may know that God truly rules in the affairs of men and gives the kingdoms to whoever He chooses. Daniel 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over the basest of men. Using the implication approach, could the “last trump” be metaphorically speaking of President Trump? Could it be saying that the reign of President Trump will be a sign for His imminent return to rapture the Church? Could it be saying that the trumpet will sound after the reign of Trump? Is it just a coincidence that God gave us President Trump, a name synonymous with the last alert for the Rapture as the president of the United States in this undisputable last-days generation? Could it be a coincidence that his second term presidency will end in 2029 right about the close of the second day (2,000 years) of God’s revival since Christ’s death and resurrection? Was it a coincidence that he was the 45th president and played the same role in restoring Jerusalem as King Cyrus in Isaiah 45? Could God have given us a clue? Is President Trump the protagonist of the End-Time? Or is he simply Trump The Great?
The Kingdom could bring revival and restoration to the Church and individual lives. This book is power-packed and annointed. This is not a Kingdom Now theology book. In this book, Mel Tari gives us God's plan for that life in Christ. It comes through RESTORATION, REPENTANCE, RELATIONSHIP, AND REVELATION. Jesus Christ is returning soon and we - His Church - must prepare for the Great Day
This is an account of the authors work with addicted clients and their codependent families in recovery from addiction, as well as an exploration of the excessive shame, guilt, fault, blame, and excuses that go along with it. What worked for them can surely apply to us all, even if our stories might not be quite as extreme. Tell me a story is not just for children to say. Read these stories for yourself, and appreciate the wisdom and guidance that can come from practical application of truth that fits everyones story. In the beginning was the Word, was said by the Apostle John, as the opening statement in his record of the Christ. In the beginning was the Story would not be a bad translation either.

This is not a religious book. It is not intended to be one. This writing is for the person who is tired of playing church, tired of always having to say how blessed he/she is and wanting to know the depth of the Christian life that always seems ever so slightly elusive. Or maybe you're exhausted by all the work you have been "doing for God." Wondering if this is all there is to the Christian life and thinking about getting out of it? Then you have picked up the right material to read. Find out what God really wants for you and stop playing games with Him.
I spent some years in my early Christian life struggling. Those early years were anything but wonderful. I knew I needed to read through the Bible and have an early-morning quiet time. I just couldn't connect the dots between what the Bible said and what was happening in my real life. What I needed was a story (devotional) that would relate to my life and also point to the truth I was reading in the Bible. I noticed I had more joy reading the Bible when I was reading those daily scriptures along with a short story that helped the scriptures "come alive," so to speak. You may find some of my stories outside the mainstream of "church thought." However, they will bring you into the life of another person and hopefully help you connect the story with the truth of scripture. I pray some of them will help you find God in your life's situations and circumstances. If one story touches one person, I'll consider that a success.
Toliver’s adventure begins when he is abducted and swept away from San Francisco on the first day of his senior year summer vacation. Strange things begin to happen to him as he discovers that he possesses supernatural powers that enable him to harness the physical energy surrounding him and empower him to do fantastic things – unimaginable things. Toliver’s mother, Renee, and Copper are also kidnapped by the same group that holds Toliver against his will and they use the two women to force Toliver to do their bidding. Toliver is committed to rescuing them and avenging the atrocities committed by the CENT. Thousands of years ago the members of the CENT were referred to as Wise Ones, Clerics and even Wizards. Countless stories are etched in lore of the strange powers and unimaginable control these talented, yet dangerous, individuals utilized. Who could have known that they would eventually unite and organize under one leader – who could have known that their ancestry was tied, inexorably to a single family tree; the roots of which were not from this Earth? Who could have known that their former leader, The Monitor, had died many years ago and left them without direction – capable of both good and evil? As always, these forces of good and evil are pit against each other but this time the evil forces within the CENT were gaining strength and Toliver was the only one who could stop them. Who could have known?

It was July 20, 1969, I was mesmerized by what I was seeing on TV. The space module Eagle had just landed on the moon and Neil Armstrong, one of America’s astronauts was about to be the first man to walk on the moon. My mind was whirling back twenty years to my childhood. It was a time when we lived without electricity or running water. A much simpler time, but one filled with the excitement of experiencing life in “The Olden Days,” yet caught up in the explosive change of the future. Did you ever wonder what was it like in “The Good Ole Days?” Before electricity, shopping malls, computers, and i-pods? You will find out how simple things like bath night, a bag of pretzels, searching the swamp for a Christmas tree, and driving over a wood plank bridge can be an exciting adventure. Each story will draw you in and bring you in touch with a bygone era. Journey with me back to 1945, which, at the age of three, is my earliest memory, and we will go - - - - "From The Outhouse To The Moon.
Two novels from Cliff Graham's historical fiction series are now available in one collection! Day of War In ancient Israel, at the crossroads of the great trading routes, a man named Benaiah is searching for a fresh start in life. He has joined a band of soldiers led by a warlord named David, seeking to bury the past that refuses to leave him. Their ragged army is disgruntled and full of reckless men. Some are loyal to David, but others are only with him for the promise of captured wealth. While the ruthless and increasingly mad King Saul marches hopelessly against the powerful Philistines, loyal son Jonathan in tow, the land of the Hebrew tribes has never been more despondent—and more in need of rescue. Over the course of ten days, from snowy mountain passes to sword-wracked battlefields, Benaiah and his fellow mercenaries must call upon every skill they have to survive and establish the throne for David—if they don’t kill each other first. Covenant of War The year is 993 BC. After years of bloody civil war, Eleazar son of Dodai, one of King David’s most elite warriors, wants nothing more than to finally live peacefully in the land. The book God’s Not Dead by Pastor Rice Broocks so engaged Cliff’s interest and his disagreement with its content that he undertook to write a response (or rebuttal). This book is it. Dealing with such diverse issues as cosmology, theology, and evolution, as well as an examination of what the Gospels of the Bible really say, this book is argumentative and opinionated. However, Cliff respects the pastor (as he refers to Broocks) and has tried to be respectful in his approach. As the book states early on, Cliff is an atheist but not a proselytizer. You may be interested in the origin of the universe, the idea of the tuned universe, the dogma known as creationism, or that known as intelligent design, the question of the meaning to religion of Darwin’s theory of natural selection, or the actual words of the Gospels. If so, this book will intrigue you no matter which side of the fence you find yourself on. Come on in, the water’s fine.
