Thakar Vuna subterranean world vast beyond the imagination. A world home to the race of dwarves, whose kingdoms there are ancient beyond the ancients; the trolls, who were here long even before the dwarves; and the elves and goblins, who came here from the surface world to carve out their own kingdoms. It is as well home for a beautiful but malevolent sorceress, who is both angel and demon and who means to enslave all other peoples of the realm to her own will. Into this conflict is drawn Falchran, Gallic warrior, brought here by the Dark Sorceress, the self-styled queen of the realm. But why?
Raw, savage, comical, erotic, electric, electrifying, humorous, historical, hysterical, marvelous magical musical MONUMENTAL MYTHOLOGICAL MAYHEM!!! Mythical Greece lives again! And the legacy of such heroes as Hercules, Perseus, Theseus, Achilles, Odysseus, Bellerophon, Jason, Atalanta, Orpheus, Orion – this legacy lives, and the torch is carried now by a new generation of heroes, including the Cretan Javelineer Adrax, the Spartan Hoplite Xanthippus, the Satyr Adonis, and the Keltoi Sangram.
So, this is my first venture into science fiction, at least for writing it. I've been a huge sci-fi fan all my life: I've seen every Star Trek episode ever made, many of my all-time favorite movies are sci-fi Alien, Predator, A Clockwork Orange, 2001: A Space Odyssey, et. al.. However, I never thought I'd write write it. I've always written fantasy, and fantasy is all I've ever written until now. I have finally entered the arena of sci-fi as a writer, although there are those who think this is more fantasy in space than true sci-fi. Not that that's a terrible thing... So, in any event, Garm ap Avanon is the third and final (?) mortal incarnation of the Spirit of Vengeance. His first was in ancient Rome. In the second, he was a rogue adventurer who lived in the 19th century and traveled all over Asia, Africa and Europe. And now, in his 29th century incarnation he is a rogue adventurer yet again, a world-class martial artists with few if any equals. But, impressive as that obviously is, it's going to take a lot more than that. For he must face not only the unforgiving realities of Vulturnus a savage, primal world that could be a near duplicate of Earth in the Mesozoic Era, dinosaurs and all on the one hand but also, on the other, the forces of a powerful, merciless monarch hell-bent on carving out in the cosmos an empire like that his ancestors, the Conquistadors, carved out on Earth centuries before.
Ever wondered what's the connection between Gaul, Napoleon, a Ukrainian nymphet, two ancient races of Giants and two Draconian demigods? The answer is to be found in the Kingdom of the Green Dragon... All his life, Falchran, greatest hero of the Banoric World, has traveled. But at last he returns home, to Gaul, there to be at last reunited with the most wonderful girl ever he had known - whom he had thought to be lost forever. And lost to him she may indeed be, for though they are reunited, forces far greater than any of them - a war between two power-mad kings, two ancient races of Giants and to Dragon Gods - may sever them yet again. But there is nothing Falchran will not sacrifice for her...

A master of visual illustration and allegory, Lewis wrote with the intuitive understanding that his readers wrestled with the same questions about the Christian story, about pain, suffering, and notions of Heaven and Hell, as he himself had wrestled.
